very welcoming and nice place with quite over expected facilities. the staffs are quite helpful also. FX will be my very first choice next time in SH

Fast wifi connection, that was even available on floor six. The location isn't in a tourism area, however it is 10-15 minutes to the nearest metro line (and they supply adequate directions to this). It is a hotel, not a hostel so expect budget hotel service.

I stayed in this hotel with some people I had met because it was National week and we could not get a hostel, it may be too pricey for a single traveller. The staff were really friendly and helpful, although some didnt speak English. The location is good, slightly out the centre but very near to the metro station. The hotel is clean and tidy. The rooms are very large, and the hotel is spotless.

Not all the rooms have Wifi. However, staff moved us to another room without complaints. The rooms are really nice for the money you pay but you'll have to walk about 10 mins to the nearest subway station.

The Hotel was some distance from the train station and the Hotel entrance at 888 is a few doors to the right and not easy to spot. I had an upstairs room with a window and street noise was no problem. The Wifi worked OK, after I sorted out whether the code they gave me was a password or a Wifi key. The towels were stiff and scratchy. There is a Tesco supermarket a few blocks away .which is handy.

clean, cheaply furnished hotel with friendly, helpful staff. location is okay (good subway connection to the railway station, need to change lines to reach Bund etc.); taxis pass frequently; good & safe area with shopping mall (including supermarket) around the corner
