The bed was not good. This hostel don\'t have a doorman. If you arrive after noon and you don\'t send email telling the time you will arrive, at Fabian\'s door has the telephone that you have to call to make the check-in. In another way, you can\'t enter because the door is aways close and nobody has the permission to open.

Nice comfy hostel with genuine free wifi.

Fabian is lovely and the hostel is still like Berlin's supposed to be. We had a great time and felt more like in a big flatshare than in a hostel. Definitely worth staying there!

It was really good stay but I have never seen such a dirty hostel in my live. Cleanliness and saniatry facilities are sooo poor - dirty bathroom (hairy sink, sludge in the bath, rotten carpet), dusty rooms and only one toilet for so many people (permanent queue).

Great low-cost hostel with everything you need. Not far from the center (half-hour walk through the park). Friendly atmosphere and staff. Recommend. :) Отличный недорогой хостел со всем необходимым. Недалеко от центра (полчаса пешком через парк). Дружественная атмосфера и персонал. Рекомендую. :)

While a bit far from the city centre, this is a very cozy and friendly place.

It was a nice place, but it was in the middle of renovation and should've been closed in the process.

Owner Comment (Show)
Hello, The only thing in renovation was one out of 4 bath-rooms, which maybe gave you this impression. This is finished by now, so be welcome next time, to see the perfect version. Fabian

The staff went out of their way to be warm, welcoming and helpful. The hostel is truly as cozy as its name. Afterward , in another city, I stayed at a large "industrial" hostel where the service is cold and efficient, and the difference was clear; by comparison Fabian's felt like a family home. I will happily stay there again if I revisit Berlin. Note that there is a small extra charge for bedsheets, but the total price is still a great deal.

The staff are wonderful, welcoming, and accomodating. They are immediately available with whatever concerns you might have and are concerned with your comfort and personal enjoyment. The building is very pretty and located in a central location, not far from Hauptabahnhof (main train station) and the famous Bradenburg Gate. It definitely lives up to its name and has a very cozy, homey feel.

The Hostel is really cute, it was a lot of fun staying at the hostel. It is great that you have the freedom of comming and going without being worried if the hostel is still open, because of the own key you got. It is nice that there is a kitchen everyone could use. It was also really close to a bus station and to a train station so it was no problem getting to a place. I enjoyed staying at fabian's cozy little sunshine hostel.

Insanely friendly and professional staff, in a cozy and homely invironment. Entering the door was like coming home, and living in a private room on the third floor felt like having our own apartment. The neighbourhood was quiet and ordinary, with the subway (U-bahn) a 5-minute walk away and the bus just outside the door. A bit too far away from the "hip" parts of Berlin I sought to visit, but perfect if you value a good nights sleep and privacy. Smoke-free, noise-free and a great guest computer.

We stayed four people at Fabian\'s for three nights and had a very good stay there. It was very cheap, a nice half hour walk from the city centre + in deed a very cosy place. We can recommend it very much!

Bei meinem letzten Berlinbesuch nutzte ich das EZ. Daniel managt den Betrieb gut, ist freundlich und hilfreich. In der näheren Umgebung vielfältige Einkaufs- und Essensmöglichkeiten. Busstop in nächster Nähe. Empfehlenswert! Friedrich Jelinek/Wien

The staff were very helpful and the hostel is in a good location. Needs a bit more security with the small padlocks etc but for the money, it was perfect!

I found this hostel particularly good as it was very reasonably priced, offered all the facilities that we needed (Kitchen, Storage cupboard with locks and bedding) and Daniel was very helpful with all of our queries. I would very happily stay here again, it was the only hostel (out of 5) on our tour of Germany that allowed us to really socialise with people. We met some fantastic people at the hostel, many of which we had good chats with in the night.
