Could do with supplying adapter plugs in every room and more than one hair dryer for people to share. A microwave would also be awesome!

The location isn't ideal. It'd a decent walk from any S-Bahn or U-Bahn stations. The bathrooms are clean enough. The vibe is a little weird but it's an alright place.

"+": +Our double-bed room was big, clean and warm. +The hostel was quiet and comfortable. +There were many cheap places to eat such as dener, susi, pizza, bakery. +Some market-shops were next to it. "-": -We had been looking for this hostel for 20 minutes, cus there were no any signs. -Despite the fact that we paid for bedclothes there were no towels. -Electric stove at a kitchen didn't work. So we could prepare nothing. -There were two shared showers, but only one was lockable.

Our stay at Fabian's was EXCELLENT! The hostel is located a few metro stops from the city center but Berlin is so big it's impossible to walk everywhere anyway. The place was very clean and had a homy atmosphere, it is divided into two parts (two different floors) so there aren't many people stuffed together, you are also 100% independent when it comes to leaving and returning to the hostel. We couldn't have made a better choice!

The poorest point is that the whole cleanliness is left to the guest's hands though it doesn't really work like that. The result is a dirty and kind of abandoned house... Such a pity because otherwise it has potential.

The microwave was a lie, but otherwise, it was awesome.

the only bad thing - it is made of two flats which are not on the same floor, one was on first, there was kitchen and reception, rooms etc.but the second was on the third floor, so when you got room on the third you had to go downstairs every time you wanted to eat or connect to the internet and our room used to be a kitchen so we had a sink just next to the bed and some strange gas heater on the wall- we thought it will blow up every second .D but other important things were superfantastisch!

Girl working as a receptionist was definitely the nicest receptionist I've ever met. Huge rooms and really clean baths. I spent there great time. I wish I'll come back.

It's a nice little hostel but it could use some extra things, especially in the kitchen: 2 knifes is just nog enough, en what about a tea towel? Some new sope in the bathroom... But as it is very cheap, this is a good hostel.

It's the cheapest hostel in Berlin... don't expect too much... but value for money is great... you have roof over your head, staff is very friendly... it could do with a bit more cleaning, but apart from that it's a cozy little hostel with a caracter and for travelers who need basic acomodation for a really cheap price.

Fabian's sunshine hostel was everything we could have hoped for. From the cosy living room and kitchen to the super-friendly staff it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We stayed in the upstairs double-room area, with a HUGE (well heated) room, double bed and nice bathroom. We would definitely recommend staying here and will probably return if ever we do go back to Berlin! Clean, cheap and cosy with a great atmosphere: an excellent pick !

Staff very friendly, Daniel gaves us tips and made us feel comfortable. The double room is huge and cosy, with very nice retro decoration. Good location, you can find everything around the hostel. Only one negative point for cleanliness: asking the guests to remove their shoes before entering the bathroom doesn't mean it shouldn't be cleaned more often - during our 5 day journey it has not been cleaned at all (except for quick floor mopping); this is not normal, even for the cheapest hostel.
