DIRECTIONS
Only until the 8th of November our reception will be at Alt-Moabit 72,
the other entrance of our house.
There you have to ring the bell of 'Kämmerer'
Walk up 3 floors. Downstairs we count as 0, the first up is 1, then 2., then 3.
the door on the left side has the sign 'Fabians'
Please do not ring other bells.
From the 9th the reception will be as usually, see description below.

I. Directions
Our hostel is in Berlin - Mitte (Center) - Tiergarten - Moabit.
Mitte means Center, Tiergarten (deer-garden) is the Western part of Mitte, and Moabit is an old quarter in its north-side. So it is in Center -North-West
2 minutes walk away from the River Spree, between Center West (Kudamm) and Center East ( Alex),
Directions: 3 ways: A B C
A from Hauptbahnhof / the Central Station by bus 20 minutes.
B from Tegel airport ( TXL ) by bus 20 minutes,
C from Schönefeld airport (SXF) to us you need 50 minutes,
D from the ZOB Central Bus Station
A)
From Berlin Hauptbahnhof ( =Central Station )
take the exit toward 'Europa Platz'.
Outside, cross the square and walk to the bus stop.
From there, either take a taxi, which
costs 7 Euro and takes up to 4 persons.
Or take the bus 245, for 2 € per person
until 'Alt-Moabit' / 'Gotzkowskistrasse'.
At the bus stop, cross the road, it's name is 'Alt-Moabit',
and walk left on the other side,
until you come to a little street on your right hand side,
named Zinzendorf Straße ,
Here is our house at number 9, in the ground floor is a bicycle-shop
THERE IS NO SIGN big sign, just press the bell with the name
'FABIAN'
Make sure, you do not ring any other bell!
After the big main door, you have to pass a smaller glass-door at your left,
then walk only one floor upstairs.
Upstairs, our door is at the right side.
Fabian's is above the bike shop, at Zinzendorf Str. 9,
on the corner where Zinzendorfer Strasse 9 meets Alt Moabit 72.

From Tegel airport, TXL,
Take a taxi for about 10 €, which takes up to four persons.
Or take the bus TXL, about 2 € per person.
Get off at Turmstrasse / Beusselstrasse.
From there, continue walking in the same direction where the bus headed, along Turmstrasse.
Turn right at Gotzkowskystrasse, ,,cross Zwingli Str, go on until you arrive at Alt Moabit Street .
There you turn left. Walk 100 meters
At the bus stop, cross the road, it's name is 'Alt-Moabit',
and walk left on the other side,
until you come to a little street on your right hand side,
named Zinzendorf Straße ,

take the trains RE or RB, (not the S-Bahn!)
until Berlin Hauptbahnhof ( Hbf. = Central Station )
for 2.80 € per person.
( A taxi from there costs 50 € )

E ) Yesterday someone walked from Tegel Airport, it was a nice walk, as reported, and took 3 hours only.
II. Conditions & Check in times (Please read this !)

No smoking inside the hostel nowhere. Only outside on street.

§1) Payment: WE TAKE CASH ONLY! No credit-cards!
You need to pay in cash the full amount of your booking on arrival,
plus a key deposit of 20 € .
ATMs / bank machines are everywhere, at stations, air-ports & near from us,
at Alt-Moabit and Turmstraße, as Berliner Volksbank, on the next street corner!
§2) Arrival-times by appointment only, because we are a small hostel,
That is why we need to know your exact arrival time.
From this time on, we wait for you for up to 1 hour,
CHECK IN is only possible between 9 AM and midnight.
Please choose your arrival time for the check-in accordingly
and make sure that you come at the exact time that you wrote
in your online booking form.
Make clear if you mean morning (AM) 9h-12h or evening (PM)! 13h-24h

Once you have checked in, you have got 24 hours access with your own keys.
PLEASE NOTE: If you did not select an arrival time,
the default (automatic) arrival time is 11 am (morning).
In that case we only wait for you until 12 noon !
Please be so kind to tell us, if you are late and cannot make it at time.
Otherwise your booking will be cancelled and your bed made available to others
For waiting for you after the normal check in time,
we charge 5 Euro extra per hour.
3)
Booked days have to be paid in advance.
Refunds are not given, for any reason at all.
§4) No show are charged the first night by their credit card.
5) Check out times: please vacate your room by noon,
on the morning of your departure.
6) Late check out :
Luggage can be left for the day, against an extra charge of 3 Euro per Person,
by making an appointment for picking up the luggage.
