It is difficult to find, but pretty close to the metro and just 2 stops from Herculeum and multiple stops from Pompei. The town is adorable and decently priced. The staff is extremely educated and upon arrival give you a guide book with recommendations and tips on where to go. The hostel is very clean and well kept and the beds are comfy. Lockers are included with your room key, and their is a gate security code after hours. The club attached to the hostel gives deals on drinks and entry is free

The staff wasn't helpful at all, when we checked in they didn't tell us a single thing about the bar or hostel. There's a few dishes to use at the microwave but they're all really dirty!! Rooms were fine but they clean every morning which is annoying if you stay more than one night, you can't leave your pjs on the bed. Close to a train stop.

I really enjoy staying in the Fabric Hostel. It is great value for money, the staff is friendly and help me a lot. Is near the Vesuvius, or to visit most of the region by train. The hostel have a good Club inside with fair soundproof. No problems to sleep. I think that the toilets are a bit dark, because it doesn't have lights over the showers, but it is not a big issue. I will recommend it for my friends and I still going to the Club while I live in Portici.

Bed bugs! in our original room (room 11). Staff handled this very quickly and efficiently, quickly moving us to a new room (without bed bugs!). Location only good for visiting Pompeii and Ercolano, better off staying in Naples if you want the night life, or Sorrento if you want a vacation.

Very friendly staff. Other than the wifi not working outside the reception area everything went well and the hostel delivered on everything it said. They also recommended me the best pizza I ever had in Napoli at pizza del centro and the best gelato I had nearby as well.

Extremely clean hostel. Good location and facilities. Extremely helpful, informative staff. The hostel lacks the atmosphere many backpackers are after, although the hostel has the potential to improve this. I would definitely stay at fabric again.

The wifi doesn't work really well. So you have to go on the very outdated computer. There are two computers but one of them doesn't work. The breakfeast for 3€ is ok. It's a good hostel near a market. There is no kitchen but a fridge and a micro-wave.

They arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport on arrival. This was brilliant!

I stayed in all kinds of hostels all over europe, and this was one of the worst. in two words: BED BUGS!! and if that's not bad enough, the location is also not ideal. not recommended.

the bathrooms on our floor were not so great - shower worked properly only in 1 stall, out of 3 toilets the light was working only in 1, they were clean though, which is a plus. wi-fi connection was not the best and available only on the common room. also, it was very hot in the room, even with the open window, and the ventilation was very poor.

Great hostel. Staff was really nice and helpful. The location is really convenient for day trips to Pompeii, Sorrento, Naples downtown and is only a 20 minute walk to Herculaneum. Some kind of air conditioning would really help though especially in the upstairs loft part if the rooms it was really hot when I stayed there

Great facilities and atmosphere. Little mini-fans are a great addition to each bed. Portici isn't exactly the most amazing town, but nicely located inbetween Pompeii and Naples.

Watch out for the front stone stairs leading into the place. They had just been washed and are like ice when wet. I hurt myself badly. Other than the stairs, a good spot for backpackers

I meet three people from the reception. Two were rude and one, Francesca, was amazingly nice and hard working. What is good about this hostel is that it's close to a station of the Circumvesuviana, it means that it's pretty easy to go to Ercolano, Pompei, Napoli, Sorrento, etc. Also the hostel is close to nice cafes and bars.

One of the best hostels, for the best price. Close to Vesuvius and Pompeii. Closer to Sorento and the Amalfi Coast than hostels in the Center. Highly recommend. Rember that public transport gets tricky after 9:30, so get back to Portici earlier than that.

It is a very nice hostel with a good atmosphere. Everything is very clean and the room was perfect. People at the reception are very nice and they want to help you with everything you ask them. You have to notice that you are not in the city of napoli but you are staying in Portici that is 15 min with the metro. But we liked it to stay here because everything was perfect and when you want to go to Pompei it is in the middle between Napoli and Pompei :)

Great hostel to stay at with excellent facilities, would definitely recommend. Only thing was it was a while out of the centre of Naples, but easy enough to get to on the Metro. Also the walk from the train station to the hostel is LONG especially with packs on... if you think you've missed it, don't worry, just keep walking!

A good hostel. It was really quiet here which can be nice however didn't really get to know anybody. Also there didn't seem to be a main light in the shared dorms, it was a nightmare coming in at night and scrabbling for the bedside light switch. Good value for money.
