All staffs are friendly and very helpful. Hostel located in a safe and lively neighborhood Portici- away from crowded center of Napoli, but yet close to 2 main train stations that runs thru main attractions (pompeii, sorrento) so it's very convenient to get around. There are some nice restaurants nearby the port, and nice pizzeria 5 mins away. Pleasant place to stay and discover Napoli. Stay for 3 nights 4 days. Highly recommended for young traveller.

A great hostel with great staff. Portici is a great little town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A good hostel in general but a little too far from Napoli. Having to take the train or metro to go to Napoli or Sorrento is a pain in the ass because you need to walk a long not so short distance to reach any of the stations. The town where looks located very unsafe after 10 pm so it's better to be in company if you go out or stay at the hostel meeting other people.

Great hostel, kitchen is a bit run down but otherwise amazing facilities. Two lockers for each bed and friendly staff

Nice to be outside of downtown Naples. Perfect location to get to wherever you need to by train. Not the cleanest hostel, my sheets had a couple stains, and the showers weren't so pleasant. Rooms very hot. None of my things went missing so no complaints about security. Staff were friendly. Overall good for what you pay.

We reserved 4 beds in a 5-bed dorm and at the arrival they said there were no 5-beds room available so they put 2 in a 9-bed room, 2 in other and 1 person in an other one. Staff was not gentle at all. The rooms were very hot, with small useless mini-fans above each bead. Wifi did not worked well

Hostel was a great hangout spot. Toilets lacked toilet seats and often toilet paper. Would recommend hostel,

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms felt secure. Room mostly clean, only slight bits of grime missed and lingering smell of cigarette smoke. Location is very close to train stations for easy access to Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento. Fantastic atmosphere with sitting area and very cheap drinks, €1 a beer! Excellent information booklet that was really useful. Cheap shop nearby and kitchen available. Fantastic hostel, saved so much money due to cheap food so the price is well worth it.

The location is right outside of Naples, and as a single traveller, I was very happy I chose Fabric. I safe in the location. Great atmosphere on the deck. Made some great friends. The store next door sells a bottle of wine for 1.49€. Location is also great for seeing Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius and the beach.

Having been in Naples city centre, I'm very glad I stayed at this hostel in Portici instead. It's a much better location for seeing Pompei and Vesuvius and getting to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. The breakfast wasn't great for €3 - you can find cheaper and nicer down the road. Some nights the bathroom ran out of toilet paper, and it wasn't replaced until the following afternoon. The rooms are very hot, being the peak of summer, and it is difficult to sleep. The wifi only works downstairs.

Great hostel. You can tell they really take pride in their place. My only complaint would be the wifi. Only worked next to the door at the entrance and was slow even then. For such a big place I think they could use one more router. Still I would stay again!

Really glad I stayed here instead of in Naples, actually pretty decent location as its closer to Pompeii and the coast. Good atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful however the kitchen literally consists of 2 hot plates and facilities were lacking. No aircon or wifi in rooms.

Great place away from the big city. Extremely helpful staff. Just know that there is no AC or wifi in the rooms.

We loved our stay! The staff was very helpful in every aspect and the whole hostel had a very friendly atmosphere. We would also recommend everyone to take a doubleroom, it's not pricey and you can have your own bathroom. The only critique would be the kitchen, which wasn't that well equipped

Meeting people is so easy here at the Fabric. We were able to go on many day trips easily with public transport (Amalfi Coast, Positano, Pompei). The only slight problem is that there is no AC in some rooms so it can get pretty hot at night but what else can you expect during the summer. Locker for every bunk which is great.

Great hostel. Has everything you could need (including a piano!). The staff are pleasant, helpful, and professional, especially Marta, who even worked out mailing me my passport when I left it there. The location is a bit outside of Naples, but consider it a nice break from the craziness. And because downtown Naples is full of foreigners, I found Portici more of an 'Italian' experience anyways, complete with restaurants, bars, a little beach, a market street, and pizza arguably as good as any.
