- very dirty hostel (toilets and showers) - only three toilets and showers for whole hostel - offered free parking, but let us pay after five days - very noisy (clubs outside) - matrasses very hard and thin The only good thing about this hostel is the location. (Not so far away from city)

The hostel is under re-construction. The equipment is very spartan. You may say it's in order to follow up with the environment of the former factory. That will be really cool. It isn't. They're denying the factory atmosphere, instead of stressing it out. The fridge was way too small to accommodate food of all the guests. The showers and toilets were dirty, often with only cold water. And they totally not use the potential of open rooftop with great view of Moscow. And you don't get a map.

No hot water in shower, too few toilets because of renovation. Staff could be friendlier.

We expected the after reading all the reviews. But after staying there for a week, we suspect the previous commentators for wanting the hostel for themselves. All the staff spoke english and where helpful. The place had a nice vibe, and apparently you can even have your wedding reception here. The location is awesome too, and Fabrika Hostel was overall a good experience.

Great place, just in the same block of pubs and clubs, and at 10 min or less by walking, of the kremlin and red square. The place is realy central not so dificult to find, but you need to now that all is in russian (not even latin words in the maps or street signs), and almost no one speak english, so forget of asking directions on the street or to taxi drivers (arrived with a couple of google maps). if you are looking for party, there are amazing but only from friday to sunday nights

So called kitchen doesn't have stove, sink, cooking ware, it's only a microwave and a fridge. Location is only good if you're visiting Red October, for anything else (like metro) you'll have to walk at least 15 minutes. 8-bed room is tiny. But otherwise it is a nice place.

Note these instructions! Exit metro Kropotkinskaya, cross the Cathedral's platform, cross the bridge. Go down the stairs and turn left when facing the river. Turn left after the parking lot with the big neon sign at the back of it. Turn left into the the yard when you're almost under the pedestrian overpass, and look to your right behind that building. Go in the door and up to the top floor. (Ignoring me may cost you 45 minutes). Kitchen=kettle, microwave, mini-fridge. Common room=4 seats, TV :(

Good location for walks on foot, cosy rooms, friendly staff. No proper kitchen, dull area

The location is quite good, not too far from the metro for Moscow standards. The atmosphere's not the best but funnt enough. But there's no kitchen...

The room view wasn’t that great – on the wall, but on the other hand I hardly remember opening the curtains at all J It’s a good place for cheap price.

We booked a 8 bed dorm for 1 night but when we got there it was late at night and we found out that one of the guests there snore very loud! So a very nice girl on reception upgraded us to the 6 bed dorm for the same price it was very nice! It shows a human approach and that what most hostels don’t have! For that I will give it 10/10 !

Small but very cozy! Its very good that there is a common room where everyone is sitting-some people watch movies,some people use internet. But everyone is together and its awesome! Sometimes they play games there! Its fun! It’s a bit uncomfortable that it situated on the 4th floor so its hard to walk all the way there after a crazy party.

I wanna say big thanks for making my holiday trully amazing! I met really wonderful and interesting people in Fabrika hostel. Everyone is so friendly, some people are living there! it feels like a big family! Location is perfect - 10 min to Kremlin! Clubs and bars are right downstairs. Thanks you again I will be back sooner than I thought!

This place is mostly for younger people who like clubs. But I met some Australian couple who were in their 50th and they were very cool! We went to see some museums which are near hostel. There were a very interesting exhibition in Pushkin museum with Rafaello, Bernini, Botichelli and other famous Italian painters

Fabrika Moscow Hostel has a best location! My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer...

I really liked the atmosphere and the friendly staff at this hostel. I checked out some other hostels after I stayed at Fabrika Hostel and got an even more clear understanding of how nice this place is! Trust me!

I stayed there in 6 man dorm and I met pretty famous artists there! It was some exsibition in Moscow so they stayed in fabrika as its in the very center! Fantastic experience!

Make sure you print out the map before you go as it’s a bit hard to find for unexperienced foreigner as myself! But in general- only positive emotions! People who stay there are so interesting! First day there were a photo shoot with a famous Lithuanian photographer! The other day there were journalists filming for some famous TV channel , then I met a designer who came to Moscow for international design contest! Definatly wont get bored there!

The staff and the guests were fun, nice and even attractive. I often travel to Moscow for business and stay in lots of hostels but this one is my first choice so far… Hope there will be available beds in January!
