An amazing place in the middle of nowhere and with a very nice dorm room. The facilities were excellent with mountain bikes and canoes available for free. The bar was quiet and pretty empty but the staff were amazing. The only bad experience was that the hostel was broken into relatively easily and the safe was broken into as well as all the cash from the till. I would definitely recommend the hostel and I will return, hopefully their security will now be improved.

The location and setting is excellent - not in the town center but very close and is a peaceful environment. Staff were all very helpful and plenty of activities to do. Can hire canoes and bikes for next to nothing. We weren't a fan of the bathrooms though, and the lights in the showers didn't seem to work. We stayed in 4 bed dorm. There was also a distinct damp feeling about the place, despite being perfect weather. However overall it was a really cool place and definitely recommend.

This place has so much potential! Our stay was fine, and relatively decent value for what we paid, but the place is pretty run down, staff was disorganized and unhelpful and the location is a bit far from town to walk safely. That said, their breakfast is awesome, they have an outside licensed bar area with pool tables etc for socializing, and Digby will shuttle people to town if he is available.

Great place. Very good atmosphere, only 3 people on staff but they are all very helpfull. Lots to do in and around the hostel such as canoeing, mountainbiking and there are several hikes.

Nice place to enjoy the Wilderness area, go for hiking, do kanooing or just hang out and relay. Very friendly and helpful staff! I rellay loved my stay here :-)
