Nice little place, student halls being used as a hostel in summer (not busy with students though). We had a 1 bed apartment which was the superior double private ensuite. Smaller than we thought it would be, but still fine. Only downside was no pots/pans/cutlery which was expected in an apartment with kitchen. 10 min walk if that to Lime Street Station/town.

It would be nice if the kitchen included some basic cutlery, dishes, cups, a pot and a pan.
