I know that siesta is very important to spanish people but most tourist do not want to miss a thing when they are in such a beautiful place, so it will be better if kitchen will be open whole days and also durig the Sundays. Other things were ok.

Stayed here one night in a double w/ bath which really was a double room and the owners later built two walls that don't go all the way up to the ceiling with a shower without curtain and towels on the floor. This give you NO privacy if you needed to use the bathroom. The blankets had hairballs on them and the beds were wrapped in plastic. The kitchen seemed to open and close whenever the owners felt like it. Don't stay HERE! You're better off sleeping on the beach!!

I feel you did not like this budget hostel.you were wrong in the election.great advice by recommending that is better to sleep in the beach hotel;it would save money and you can enjoy sleeping on the clear sand with a illuminated sea by a starry sky.

This hostel is a great deal. The owners are nice and it was clean, very cheap and well-located in a safe neighbourhood. If you're looking for a social atmosphere or somewhere stylish you will be out of luck, though. Perfect for those looking for a deal and to not spend much time at the hostel. We really liked the neighbourhood, there were plenty of friendly people and cheap places to eat.

Pros: cheap, good location, clean, wifi (but only in reception), nice staff, luggage storage, quiet, warm Cons: Nobody was there when we arrived to check in so we had to wait outside for 45 minutes, again when we checked out we needed to store luggage and nobody was there from 10-11am to check you out and take luggage. Hostel is clean but time has taken its toll. Awkward rooms with bathrooms basically in the room. No common room or kitchen.

Hostel is located so far away from the main beach and also near is a bus station to the center which takes like 8 minutes. Price is really good and for that you will get really good accomodation. It is hard with staff because they dont speak english at all and they are mostly some older people who would like to help but they dont understand so if you dont speak any Spanish might be a problem. Kitchen is clean and atmosphere is calm. Next time i would go there again.

Very nice hostel, clean and quiet. We had a double room with shower and toilet. Good location (30 min walk from bus station) staff was very nice but don't speak in English. Kitchen closed on Sundays, but they have a terrace on the roof. In my opinion the money we payed, we got everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

This is one pension for the value for money is OK . It,s not so expensive, but the caracter is poor and cleanliness could be improved. I have paid two €uros more/ per day about the price concerted for website for one room with double bed ensuite. I recommend pay the fixed price on the website.

You made a reservation for a double bed room;but you tell me that preferred to move to a twin room because you would sleep more comfortable;then i say you that the twin room cost 2 euros more expensive for night; you told me that there was not problem.

For an exceptionally cheap hostel this is great value. It is clean and well run, the receptionist is kind and the place is not at all sordid which very cheap places often are. This is not for you if you cannot deal with basic facilities, for example you have a power socket in your room for phones and cameras etc. but no TV.

I spent a 6 nights in the hostel at the beggining of February, 2012. It''s a budget hostel. Good location everithing is within a half hour walk approximately. There are shops, cafes, restaurants, pizza shops around. There are 2 beaches very close indeed. Staff didn't speak English more then a few words though very friendly. The place was very clean. Cheap but acceptable furnitures. However the bed was to soft for me.

It would be hard to criticise this hostel. It is a reasonably priced one star hostal/hotel. You get good value for what you pay. I was very satisfied. There are not self catering facilites if that is important.

It´s cheap, what does`nt mean its poor. It is simple, but safe and clean. Very nice and helpful staff. Buses, bakery and supermarket nearby. If you come by bus Nr; 60 / 30 / 1 take stop at LAS PALMA MARINA-CLUB and cross the pedestranbridge. From the hostel it`s a 15 minutes walking to the beautiful beach. Promenade with very nice restaurants, coffeshops and bodegas.

I had my reservations about this Hostal after reading some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. Both were very clean and decent. I found the place quiet. No real faults except the bed mattress was too soft for my liking. I would recommend this hostal to others who are staying in Las Palmas de GC.

You could tell that this place was a budget hotel. Except for the kitchen it was not that good. The place had absolutely no atmosphere. It looked like it had been the same in the last few decades. It breathed faded glory, you could tell by the tv standard on the wall without a tv, the blankets and courtains looked like as could be found in my grandmothers collection, and everything was lightned with TL lamps which made the feeling of desolation complete. Let's call it a place where you can sleep

U get what u pay for which is a cheap hostel! The wifi wouldn't work on my htc phone but seemed to work on other peoples laptops, shower was a bit hot cold hot cold but these things aside it was a pleasant stay. The hostel owners had no info on touristy things to do on GC but if u walk to the beach u can get that stuff there, they don't speak english but I should have learnt Spanish really! I'd stay there again. Cheers guys!
