A bit far away from the city centre, though it is easy to get around. The staff are very friendly. But the facilities are not quite as described. We had booked an "ensuite" room, but they do not even have any rooms like that. Not that we had any problem with sharing bathrooms (which are quite clean) but for the price, especially compared to other places in Ethiopia, it was quite expensive! It says it has wi-fi, but it doesn't, though this is not uncommon in Addis. Breakfast is great!!
A great place

Michael - the guy running the hostel - was extremely friendly and helpful. In fact, he makes the place! For Ethiopia, this is certainly one of the cleaner hostels, and while it comes with the usual basic, slightly knackered bathrooms, it's a charming place in the centre of town. Addis, however, is a dump: get yourself to an amazing all-singing all-dancing restaurant (literally) called Habesha, (and a place called Lucy near the museum) and then get outta there pronto.
