We stayed only one night but I reckom the location is good and facilities as well. The room was big and the private bathroom very modern. The appartment is near the old city but also near the port if you need to take bus and/or ferry. Nothing much to say, I only regretted that we could not speak more yith the hosts and that we had to check in a 4pm. Otherwise it is definitely priceworthy for Dubrovnik.

We were very happy to have a kitchen when we weren't expecting one!! We didn't have a very good welcome though, the young daughter checked us in and told us nothing about the city or our room. The location is okay it was only a 15min walk to old town so we were happy. As we are backpackers, it was nice to have our own room and kitchen for a few nights but it would have been nice to talk to the actual owner of the place.

The hosting famy is exceptionally nice and helpful. The room is much more prettier than the pictures shown here. Completely worth a try!!

I was unwell on arrival but the family went out of the way to make me feel comfortable. The bed was huge and had a large flat screen tv on the wall. The bathroom was clean and modern and the property had an outside terrace. If returning to Dubrovnik I would definitely return.

Very good house. Staff was very kindful and helpful. But location is not good. But you can go downtown by bus(3minutes) or by walk(15min). Thank you. I will miss you.

This hostel/private residence is near perfect, located near the huge church to give a 360 degree landmark, near a major hotel where all the excursion pick-ups/drop-offs are made, self catering with a supermarket maybe 4 corners away, friendly landlord with excellent local information - a warm abode in times of need ! would stay there again and would recommend with confidence to anyone who isn't a noisy nuisance.

Rooms are much nicer than they look in the photos. Excellent room, solid WiFi, and a fan. The shower was one of the greatest things I have ever experienced.

We had booked en-suite room but when we got there the rooms were already full. So we got an apartment, no complaints :) Location is ok, 20 mins to the old town and 20 to the bus station, 5-10 mins to the beach. There was nothing negative, I'd recommend.

we were hoping for a family stay but they were doing renovations so we stayed in an apartment away from the house but could still visit the balcony to sit and use wifi. In the end we were happy with the apartment arrangement as it was very spacious. Needs some teatowels in kitchen. All else was lovely

Our stay at the Glavinic family's place was overall good. There was a mix up with the pickup situation as it was poorly communicated to us where and when we would be picked up. Be extremely clear about where you need to be because their English is limited. We were given the choice between a bedroom in the Glavinic house or our own apartment for the same price which worked out perfectly! A beautiful 10-15 minute walk to old town along the water. Far enough so everything was super cheap!

It was a good room. The family was nice and it was a good alternative to staying in the overcrowded old town.

Mr Glavinic is a really nice person, he and his wife offered us cake and drink when we arrived. He pick up us for free in the bus station. They have 3 daughters really helpful also. The appartment is about 20 min. walking to the old town. Be carefull, taxis try to cheat you.

Very friendly family and great location as it's 8-10 min walk from the old city and 5 min walk to a beautiful beach. Simple but fantastic value for money. Would recommend :)

Family were very friendly and picking us up from the bus station was no problem. Their English was good and they even offered to take us on their jet skis. Approximately 15 minute from the old town and 25 from the gruz port. Note that the room was an apartment with a kitchen rather than a hostel, so if you are looking for a hostel atmosphere maybe look elsewhere. But would recommend staying here!

Amazing guesthouse. The best place i have stayed. Glavinic family is unbelievably helpful and kind, nice. I will not forget fun and good memories from here!

The family was really nice, they take us to the bus station the day we were leaving. The room was nice and comfortable, the bathroom needed some repairs but nothing serious. The location is ok, about 15 min to the old town.

The mother was kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the room smelled of mold and had little ventilation. The shower doors were barely functional, and its floor was caving in. No handle on one of the doors so we couldn't open it for more air. Lightbulbs missing above bed. No kitchen for use. It's hard to find and up a LOT of stairs, and a bit far (15 mins walk) from old town. Hard to reach via phone and no car for transfer or seeing views was available. Nice people but not great facilities.

We enjoyed our stay at Family Glavinic a lot. The location is half way between the very harbor and the Old Town which makes for a nice walk (of about 20 mins) in the beautiful landscape. The room was clean and included its own bathroom. There was also a nice terrace. The family members were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful when we had questions. I can definitely recommend it!

The place was great, a very big room with a nice bathroom. The city centre, the ferry port, bus station, and most beaches were accessible by foot. There were quite a few steps to get to the house, but that's the way most of the town houses are. The family was extremely nice and welcoming, the oldest daughter spoke english very well. We ran into the father at a supermarket and he was kind enough to wait for us and give us a ride back to the house. I would definetly recommend this place to anyone!
