Private accommodation on halfway between ferry port / central bus station and old town. Nothing special but worth the price.

The family was really nice and gave us a welcome drink, when we arrived. The price is excellent for Dubrovnik. The only negative point we can mention is, that the bed was really uncomfortable, because the mattress was really saggy. Just as an advice for the family: You should put better photos to hostelworld :).

We really recommend this gest house, good location: about 15mn walk to the old city. We receive a worm welcome, we told them that we are vegetarians so Miss Glavinic prepared specially for us a wonderful vegetarian breakfast… very good value for money.

Good location, halfway between Gruz Port and the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Be prepared for uphill walks from either (and massive stairs to get up to the house!). Hardly saw the owners but they were very nice :) There's a great local bar (Roxy) with an awesome bartender at night. Unfortunately though our shower had a crack in the floor when we arrived. Every time we showered the bathroom floor was covered in water.

The house is in a good location approx 15min walk from the old town, with some cheaper local shops and restaurants close by. The house is very busy with children etc but is clean and friendly.

We stayed for 2 nights. Very nice family. Mr glavinic very helpful. Our youngest son was unwell in the night and he really went out of his way to help. The following day he let our children have a go on his daughters electric scooter which they loved. Near to some nice restaurants which are cheaper than main ones in town. Shop close by. Bus service very regular into old town if not want to walk... every 5 mins. About 20 mins walk downhill to old town so good idea to get bus back up the hill.

The hosts were very kind and accommodating, the facility was clean, quiet and extremely comfortable. It was in a beautiful old part of town very close to where we wanted to spend our time. I would definitely say this place is worth a stay.

There was no room in the house so stayed in a separate apartment, this was fine but did not have wifi, the old town is about about 15-20 walk, it's a good walk but not when it's hot! Cleaness was okay, could have been better, air com was good especially because it was so to outside!

Nice place to stay, but a little far walk from the city center. Worth it to for the cost though. Nice clean room with a nice family.

This is a family home--we simply got one big room and bathroom. Nice family--gave us directions and other help, let us put yogurt in their fridge but we had no access to kitchen. A pleasant walk to swimming to Old Town and a bit more to the ferry/bus. Little patio to sit in. Quiet neighborhood. A few small shops nearby. Convenient for a night or two in Dubrovnik.

Family Glavinic was very welcoming, especially their young daughter who was always available and put a lot of effort in helping us and trying to understand english. Very close to old town, great stay overall!

Our stay at Family Glavinic was alright, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. First off, it was very difficult to find (and the directions on hostelworld were subpar). Second, we felt a bit awkward in the house, as if we were a burden. There were children screaming at times and we had no idea where to find the hostel owners to ask questions. All in all, we felt rather uncomfortable during our stay. The facilities were fine, clean and well-maintained, but overall it wasn't what I had expected

I have nothing negative to say about this hostel. The room was great, very modern. The staff was very nice and kind, you can ask whatever you want to the man. The location was good: you can walk to the city centre and also to the less touristic part of the city (Lapad and Babin Kuk, which are also very nice). It was clean, there was no noise and everything was nice. We only stayed here for one night, but we would have stayed for weeks.

They were amazing , I would recommend this house, they were the nicest people I have ever met, I have been traveling for 4 months now and by far would have to be the best place I have ever stayed at, it's only 10-15mins walk to old town, but the walk is nice coast view, n 5 mins to the beach, most places are around 15-25 euro for Dubrovnik and this place was only 11?, Also wifi was great.I will tell my friends n family about you guys :) loved the stay!! N ill be coming back next year

We had a very pleasant stay at this place. 1. Hosts: Very helpful family in helping us settling down, go places, sent us to the bus station, very concern too in providing the best that they can. Sad to leave them, anyway. Very friendly too, despite having difficulties conversing in English properly, we still feel welcomed and appreciate their hospitality. 2. Accom.: strategic, beautiful, scenic, near restaurants, beach and supermarkets. Thanks for letting us use your crockery and kitchen.
