what can we say about this hostal !! papa stanos and family are legendary !! real nice croatian hosts . we've been to a lot of hostals and this family is one of the most carmful,helpful,funny,good atmosphere that we found around the world!! go there if you want to pas a good holiday in dubrovnik it's located at 5 min by food of the old town . nice clean big rooms . nice atmosphere in "bar stanos" (house kitchen) if we go back to dubrovnik we go defenetly back to family stanos

We loved our stay at Family Stanos! Baldo went above and beyond to take care of everything we needed (including helping us lug our massive suitcases up to the hostel from the bus station) and he really was a lovely host. I would highly recommend Family Stanos for all travellers.

My wife and I could not have been happier with our decision to stay with Baldo and his great family! The house was clean. The family was more than accomodating. We had such as great time that we even traded a scarf and a tshirt to remember our stay by. We were in a pinch with how to get to the airport and Baldo even drove us in his own car! Overall I have nothing but amazing things to say and would highly recommend this house. Great cost also! We were in Europe for 2 weeks and this was the best!

Baldo and his family are lovely, generous hosts. We would recommend to family and friends who want to memorable stay in Dubrovnik. The hostel is very close to the old town - great location. The rooms were very clean and Baldo and his family were very accommodating of our early arrival.

Our stay at Family Stanos was nothing short of exceptional. Family Stanos was more than friendly, helpful and fun. The guest house is conveniently located near the old town of Dubrovnik. I would recommend Family Stanos to anyone traveling to Dubrovnik and can guarantee it will be my hostel of choice upon my next visit!

Really good athmosphere, the owner Baldo is just incredible.

Great location - good views of the city (it's up a lot of steps!). Really welcoming host and family, and spacious comfortable rooms. Faultless.

Dubrovnik was a lovely place to visit but it wouldn't be any where near as memorable if it hadn't been for Baldo and his family. Baldo is a fabulous and generous host and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending his hostel to our family and friends. Thank you Baldo!

I had a room there for the second time. The family renting the rooms is VERY nice, and the rooms are clean. Its the perfect place to stay if you want to spend some time in Dubrovnik, only a few meters from the city wall (Minceta tower).
