Far Out Camping Reviews

If I was to go back to IOS I would stay here again. It's right next to the beach and it has a good atmosphere, movie nights and wet t-shirt competitions etc. Bus into town costs 1.60euro but it's an easy walk back to the Far Out Campsite. Stayed in a 2 bed dorm; the inside was covered in graffiti, one of our mattresses was thin and the toilet/showers weren't very clean but its only 8euro a night.

We stayed in twin tent. They are small and get quite hot but do the job. Quite a steep walk though. Good buses into town and a taxi when they stop is only 5 euros. right on beach with nice pool bar area. really yummy food.

Fantastic cheap... staff were great full of humor. No complaints.

I stayed in one of the two bed cabins - very basic, but dirt cheap, and you're not going to be sleeping much if you're in Ios! Great pool areas and reasonably-priced cafes, free port transfer, but had to pay for the bus into town at night, which was a shame. Sociable party atmosphere, would highly recommend!

stayed in a 2 bed dorm i.e hut pretty average very hot in the mornings and no power points but at 8 euros you cant complain any hows you will be so busy parting up a storm they you wont sleep! the set up at Far Out is great next to the beach two pools a bar onsite restaurant which is cheap and not bad food free wifi and easy to get into town on the bus! :)

The place has a great vibe !! Needs soap in the bathroom to wash hands , and also cleaner toilets , can be filthy !! Beds in the 'chicken coops ' , bed tents are cramped and need some more padding !! Besides this was my second time back this year , i have a great time there and is very cheap on the wallet !! And a great beach across the road, one of the best in the greek islands !!!

Great spot for partying and meeting new people...right on the beach as well, great facilities!

I stayed in a little bungalow which was pretty dirty and very basic but the cost reflected this. A very cool atmosphere here with awesome pools right next to the beach. There's no other option, you have to stay here if you're looking to party in Ios!!

This camping is awesome and definitely the place to stay is Ios. I had the best time ever there and would recommend it to anyone that wants to party and have good fun. If you are travelling alone I would call them though, maybe they can put you in a dorm or puts someone else with you in one of those tents, because 24 euros a night instead of 12 leaves less money for drinks. Absolute fun and Ios cough guarantied.

Needs thicker mattressses. Could feel the wooden slats. Otherwise. Most fun place ever!!!

This would have to be on of the best places we have ever stayed. You meet new people every day, it is right on the beach and close to the village. This places is all about drinking and partying!!!!!!! Great place!

Far out is the backpackers meccah of Greece! party central! had such a great time there for the second year in a row and stayed for longer than i thought i would because it was such an awesome place. you get so much value for money, right across from the beach and two wicked swimming pools. great to chill out during the day and the best place to start your night!

Hands down the best party and stay that you could find for summer. Incredible location, great food too!

It's a really good place. The facilities eg bar, pools, mini market etc are all very good. The tent beds could have been cleaner like removing cobwebs.
