Far out camping is a long way from the town so it's a bit of a pain after a night out in Ios but it's right on a beautiful beach which definitely makes up for it. The rooms are big and comfortable and clean and with the bar, restaurant and mini market you've got everything you need. There's a great atmosphere at the bar in the evenings and a bus that takes you straight into town. Overall I had a great stay
Wow what a setup. Toilets should be cleaner
Lovely hotel with shuttle service down to beach whenever you want which is really handy. Nice pool and good rooms.
Very simple but so much fun the pool is the best hang out place you can ask for the price you pay. Every one was so nice and helpful!!!!!

You get what you pay for. If you stay in the dorms it's a little sweat tent. If you stay in the bungalos it's a resort. Either way it's a blast! This place was awesome!
We had an amazing time at far out camp. They have amazing friendly staff who go over and above to make you have a good time. Great facilities with accommodation for every style of traveller. We will suggest this place to everyone
The staff at the hostel are brilliant! So much fun and take the time to chat to everyone even though there are so many people staying there. You have to remember that you are only paying the smallest amount of money to stay there..so yes the tents get really really hot but everything else just totally makes up for it!
It is what it is,don't worry you will be drunk the whole time bra
Cheap, but don´t expect to sleep past 10am. the ´tents´get way too hot!
I would only recommend camping if you're traveling on a very tight budget. At the price it's a solid choice but if I were to go back I would stay in a hostel with AirCon, the tents are too hot to sleep in by 8:30am (not a lot of time considering you get back from the bars at 7am). While the party was good I found it harder to really meet other travelers as there was so much going on.
definitely a party hostel, we rented a 2 person tent which looked like a shed from the outside but for the money was impressed with the beds and security box on the inside. if you're wanting to lay by a pool/beach and drink and party definitely stay here!
Accommodation needs to be upgraded and so does security and security's of belongings. Here was a wooden box to store our belongings. Easy to break into
This is exactly what it is advertised to be. A party place. However, we were in a tent and it was dusty and hot and absolutely loud as hell. The bathrooms were disgusting to the point that bins would be overflowing with toilet paper and flies were everywhere. The pool was great and the food offered was pretty good and cheap. There is a free shuttle from the port which is nice. Also, if you don't want to party, the place is pretty dead after about 11pm so you can day party and then chill out.
I stayed here for 4 nights in a bed tent, the room was hot as there are no fans nor linen included , the toilets & showers were the worst I've ever used, and I've stayed in some terrible places before. However the lack of cleanliness and comfort are well made up by the amazing social area. Every night is like a nightclub with hundreds of people, met tons of cool people. If you wanna stay here pay the extra for an ensue room, only good option.
Amazing place to be !! I really had a great time there !! Party all the time, enjoy it !!
You get what you pay for here - I booked a two bedroom dorm and it was actually a 2 bed shack with no room or air conditioning.
A really nice hostel, very close to the beach and there is a party inside the hostel. There are buses going just from the door of the hostel to the port. Great atmosphere! Amazing place to stay.
Cheap so good if that's what you want and far out is great but the tents are waaaay waaaaay too hot in August!!!!
Great party place and atmosphere! Staff often rude. Advertised as air con rooms but had to pay extra. Rooms were clean and nice to stay in with beautiful view of beach and overal was an incredible experience.

The beach and pool are amazing. But it is way to hot during peak season to stay in the cheap 2 bed dorms. They're tents with wooden doors. It's like sleeping in a sweaty dog kennel. I would have gone with something more expensive if I'd known it would be that bad.
