Hotel is on as silent place as you can be in the center of downtown in Amman. Walking distance to historical places and souqs. Staff was very nice and talked English very well. Breakfast buffet was plain, but ok. Room had good heater and there was always hot water, which is important in the winter. Furniture and colors were ugly. Everything still worked which was good.

The staff were fantastic and well informed. The lovation was great - very central. This is a winter review: the rooms were unheated and cold and even the lounge was not well heated.

Great location in downtown and near the Citadel and Roman Ampitheather. Room didn't have heating so very cold. Breakfast was bread and jam. Wifi was given to me for free but asked to pay 2 JOD on departure.

Everything was good. The onsuite bathrooms were a bit small, but we used the shared bathrooms that was more spacious. Overall,......it was a good stay, and Rania arranged good trips.

The hotel offered us a great welcome into Jordan after picking us up at the airport. It is within easy reach of all the main sights of Amman and is smack in the centre of town. Rooms are good for the price; the beds are comfy and warm and the showers all dispense warm water. If you're looking for added comfort, you need to look at the hotels further out of town, but this ultimately is a great base for exploring the city and getting some rest afterwards.

they did not attend to upfront payment on the site by credit card. Full price was charged, no matter the upfront fee. I had to pay 5 nights at 17 Dinar. so upfront charging is not right by you

Good staff, other friendly travellers and cheap. Unfortunately Down-town Amma is not very nice.

The hostel is located in the very center, just 2 min from all the buzz. Very friendly staff//you could book 1 day trips at fair prices. Hot water and excellent breakfast. Not so many chances to run into other backpackers. but you can play one of the many movie DVDs available. NOTE: booked this after dicovering the paid reviews for Bdeiwi so beware!

This hostel is in a great location, and would be a good place to stay as a single backpacker / group on a budget as it is cheap, clean and really central. We had a double room with somewhat ancient decor, uncomfortable bed and fairly useless shower. The room was functional, but not that pleasant to spend time in - you get what you pay for! Breakfast was pittas / soft cheese / jam and eggs which was adequate. Bonus points for having a fridge in our room to keep water in& kettle available

Well located hostel for walking through downtown Amman. Staff is very helpful, yet it's a bit smoky in the meeting area. Can be recommended!

Thoroughly recommend Farah Hostel. It's rare to come across a hostel with staff as attentive and welcoming, and I'll definitely be keeping in touch with Hani. All the facilities are aimed at backpackers/solo travellers and this makes it a perfect base in the beating heart of Amman. Look forward to visiting Farah again.

The Farah is in an excellent location, in the bustling downtown district and with in easy reach of the Citadel, the Roman theatre and lots of other places of interest. they also organise reasonably priced trips to just about everywhere else in Jordan you might want to visit. Staff are helpful and friendly and although pretty basic my room was clean, the AC worked efficiently and there was plenty of hot water. Very good value for anyone with a limited budget.
