The property was acceptable, except for the suite bathroom. My son received a very strong electrical shock, and the outlets were all out of the wall. The issue was that we had to walk to several places to find the location. The address on the reservation was closed for renovations. I called and was directed to another location by Miguel. This man was great and came out onto the streets to find us.

I stayed here twice and got a room upgrade both times and was very impressed with the staff! Helpful, fun and friendly. I liked how close it was to bus/train station and it was easy to get to the airport too! The second time around my room was fresher than the first which smelled strongly of smoke. This time was no trace. I found it helpful to call to confirm directions in my first visit though! Thanks guys!

I appreciated the service: from being escorted from the bus station to the room upgrade to the travel suggestions and help planning. It was also very nice to have some Internet too! Honestly, friendliest bunch of hostel staff ever! I was glad I called for directions; although it's not far it wasn't easy to find the first time. So thanks for the help! Also the first room I had (& was grateful for) did have an intense smoke smell so if someone had an allergy it wouldn't have suited them.

the hostel was completely the opposite of what was pretended on the website, dirty, furnishing very old, definitely not stylish and comfortable as one can see on photos on the website, bathrooms very dirty and old

it's located across the street from the bus station and the bus stop to the airport is a 2 minute walk. other than that, go somewhere else. there are no keys for the doors. if the one employee there happens to be somewhere else in the hostel, anybody can walk in and go through the hostel. i tried to check out early and the guy there was busy washing his face for 10 minutes! i almost missed my bus!

The beds were clean, but the bathrooms where small and ugly. The staff is friendly. If you have no high standard on the cleanness of the bathrooms its ok to stay there for 2 Nights

average hostel, gets the job done. security is VERY poor though, no keys for the room or front door so anyone can pretty much walk in, which they did.

I only stayed in faro for one night, so I can't really comment on the hostel or the city. However, in the time that I was there, I can say the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, in the middle of the night, my bag and one other's was stolen by someone who came into the hostel off the street. Fortunately I was able to run after the guy and retrieve one of the bags. Hug your belongings while you sleep.

This hostel is very friendly and open (literally), so meeting other travelers isn't a problem. The staff is also extremely helpful and give you a nice warm welcome. Although I gave security an average rating, I felt safe with valuables stored away in the locker. The bathrooms could use some improving and renovation. Anyway, the hostel is an okay choice, if you happen to be in Faro.

For the price, very good. Top staff, very basic but clean, decent kitchen, and free internet access, unbelieveably hot but you don't expect luxuries at that price. Can be noisy when the student bar at the back is in full swing .Overall a good experience and I've been backpacking for 25 years, recommended for budget travellers.

Great location! And the staff were really friendly and helpful. The hostel was clean. Not very secure, no room key, no lockers, front door open and the desk wasn't always manned. But overall would recommend this place!

It was a bit too loud to those who just want to rest, people that go party at night come late and do much noise. My room was near the door and the street so all the sounds from the outdoors were heard as well. Also the kitchen is a bit small if more than one person wants to cook at the same time. Other than that it was good.

Hostel is good located. We only stayed one night, so we couldn't get that much of an impression. But the staff was a little bit confused and unorganized. We think it isn't a bad hostel, but we stayed in better ones.

Just enough to stay the night if you need to go early to the airport the next morning. But security is quite low compare to other hostel where we have been, no key for the main entrance and the room. Everything stay opened all the time. You can have a locker for 5 euro deposit though but the locker is not so big. Impossible to cook in the kitchen since there are no furniture at all except one microwave. There is barely 2 knife and 2 plates for the all hostel. So if you want to cook dont go!

great location, clean bathrooms and rooms, lorenzo and miguel - you made faro the best! super helpful and friendly...the security level is low but faro is super chill so i wasnt worried about anything. no oven or stove, but microwave and fridge. dont know why other ppl gave it such low reviews. seriously worth it for the money and its in the middle of everything. if not for the security being lax it would have gotten a 100! stay here, its great!!!!
