Great location, right beside the bus station, close to food and the harbour. Bathrooms were not clean. Security also an issue in the dorm rooms- no keys. Free computer access was a plus.

Great guys in the Staff, Perfect price, and everything ok, the only thing is that Faro is not that Interesting! It's better to go to other near cities!

Good located close to the centre and bus station, but it felt somehow a bit dodgy compared to other nice hostels we stayed at in Portugal. The bathrooms wasn't too nice either, but the staff was friendly, so we had a nice stay after all.

It had only been open a few days when we were there, so it's really hard to tell. But the bathrooms weren't all that clean so I'm hoping they'll get their cleaning worked out!

It's a small but nice hostel, with a little terrace and all you need. Everything is in good shape, you can definitely stay there for a few days in Faro

When we arrived, the hostel was closed, nobody answers the door neither the phone. Thanks to an english mate who was in the same situation than us (who ring me to say he found the hostel )which simply changed the adress with no advertisement about (no mails or even message on the door), we finally found the place. Then the place was decent.

The staff was really lovely. Very friendly and helpful with everything from sharing their local knowledge to accommodating more specific personal needs. The premises were simple but well maintained, everything worked and was clean. This was on the Teopfilo Braga road premises, I think the other one is closed for refurbishment at the moment. I recommend warmly!

When I showed up there to check in there was no one there. The place was empty. Since it was 2am and I couldnt get another place to stay I had to sleep outside. In the morning I saw that they sent me an email notifying me of a change of location, but it was sent less than 12 hours before my scheduled arrival so I could not see it due to traveling. We don't need hostels like that.

It was horrible! Situation is not bad, because Faro is not very big, but they move us (the same day that we arrive) to other hostal, really dirty, everyone could get in and the staff wasn't very nice...

I actually stayed at low cost inn. Faro Guest Lounge was closed for renovation. There was a sign on the door directing you to go to low cost inn. On arrival there staff were lovely and i had a twin room. They also apologised for missing out on contacting me about the renovations

Thge day I arrived in Faro at 23.30 they had powsted that their hostel was renovating. I spent the night in my car, after repeatedly checking the entrance, where nothing was happening, 2 people left the building, From them I got in touch with the owners who met me 10 min. later. Spent the next night at their otherr hostel, there was no refund, the price for the room they gave me amounted to the money I had paid and was due for 2 nights in a dorm. Ridiculous.

The property was acceptable, except for the suite bathroom. My son received a very strong electrical shock, and the outlets were all out of the wall. The issue was that we had to walk to several places to find the location. The address on the reservation was closed for renovations. I called and was directed to another location by Miguel. This man was great and came out onto the streets to find us.

I stayed here twice and got a room upgrade both times and was very impressed with the staff! Helpful, fun and friendly. I liked how close it was to bus/train station and it was easy to get to the airport too! The second time around my room was fresher than the first which smelled strongly of smoke. This time was no trace. I found it helpful to call to confirm directions in my first visit though! Thanks guys!

I appreciated the service: from being escorted from the bus station to the room upgrade to the travel suggestions and help planning. It was also very nice to have some Internet too! Honestly, friendliest bunch of hostel staff ever! I was glad I called for directions; although it's not far it wasn't easy to find the first time. So thanks for the help! Also the first room I had (& was grateful for) did have an intense smoke smell so if someone had an allergy it wouldn't have suited them.
