I just used the hostel to sleep there as I came to Faro late in the evening and had to take an early flight the next morning. Therefore I only was interested in a bed and a shower. The hostel had both :-) Can't tell anything about the hostel besides that.

Great hostel in Faro. Could get hot in the rooms during the summer. Great terrace outside for dinner and chilling.

In this hostel you get exactly what you pay for! There is no stove in the kitchen just a hot plate which works if your the only one! There is no real way to heat water for tea or coffee either. Don't try to check in before 2:00 either because it isn't going to happen. It is next to a bird park which is great, but trying to find it for the first time is really difficult. The staff were not very helpful either. One good this though is that they will give you breakfast to go in the morning.

The hostel was very clean, the staff friendly and welcoming. I stayed only one night, it was quite empty, so the hostel was quiet and everything went fine. The showers were very good and cleans, the beds a bit old and basic but for this price it is perfectly acceptable. Overall a very good experience, and very good value for money!

The hostel is about 10 mins walk from the bus and train station and conveniently located for the old town and town centre. The hostel facilities are basic but clean and the kitchen. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had a great time in Faro. You can explore the beach, the town and also the nightlife which was really good fun with lots of bars and clubs. I would recommend staying here for a couple of nights.

No free internet service or computers. Groups of rowdy youngsters yelling and making loud noises at night, and the admin doing nothing about it. A mean old lady in charge of the breakfast , never putting out juice, which is included, and giving you even ham and cheese if you ask for them. An old man monopolizing the TV, watching sports all evenings long. No common avtivities.
