This was a delightful place to stay! Very welcoming, more like staying with a family friend than a backpackers. Clean and tidy with plenty of room in the lounge/kitchen. The soup was also delicious! :)

Great location! Our dorm was quite spacious and comfortable. The hostel is also nicely centrally located, with a great balcony overlooking the harbor where you can hang out.

I wouldn't reconmend this hostel at all. When you come it, it already feels dirty. When I came in I thought I smelled urine. The furniture is old. Flies everywhere. No clean towel to clean your dishes with. Kitchen dirty. Beds are alright. I was glad I just stayed there for one night.

Staff were so kind and friendly. Cute little hostel so very close to ferry terminal. A bit dated but it adds to the charm.

Little bit noisy due to passing night ferry trains

Friendly and helpful staff from the moment I checked in. Let me store my luggage under the stairs after I checked out and was happy for me to return at midday to pick it up again. Traveled to Picton 4 days later and asked if I could store my luggage for 1/2 a day and it wasn't a problem :) Toilets and showers were clean - downside to showers was limited mins for hot water. Beds were made and towel provided - a nice bonus! Kitchen was well equipped as well as lounge.
