Basically a good place to stay in Singapore, but unfortunately we had construction works ongoing during 3 days, from 9am to 9pm and a flooding in one night because of heavy rain in our neighbours room...Anyway, the staff was great and very lovely, good breakfast.

this photo doesn't show what u can find in private rooms.i booked private for two person, bed was made of concrete with mattress put on it. room was without window,of corse, what causes bad smell... whole place was dirty, and in bathroom u could find old properties from ex quests and also ANTS and small FLYS. the breakfast is a bread leaved in plastic bag next to toster (so dirty u dont want to put bread inside it even for one second) If u are rational person its better if u stay far away from this place..

There is almost nothing positive to say about this place. The lighting in the room was terrible, floors were disgusting, walls were thin, bath towels were useless, bathrooms were full of flies (I wouldn\'t have been surprised if I had gotten foot fungus). Also at check-out, a staff member told us to give them a high rating (\"at least 90%\"). If they are concerned about what people think, they should put more effort into renovating their space instead of asking their customers to lie for them.

Sorry Sir, till the time you was here you was very happy and you never said anything about anything like this. Can you please tell me what is wrong in the rooms light, there is 1standard tubelight for you which is more then enough for a room other then this, you was having reading light, so where the problem is. Foot fungus is a very far story, the bathrooms get clean 3 times in a day, I think you are not happy for some other reason which I am not able to understand, Else what is the problem with the security, location and staff to you, security 24 hrs reception, 24 hrs cctv camera, your room keys, lockers then what else you need ? About Location, till now in the last 2 years every one is praising that we choose very good location, on foot only you can visit 80% attractions of Singapore; so saving your transportation money. MRT (Train) is only 3 minutes away from our place. ATM 1 min, money exchangers (1 min walk), 7-11, grocery shops, departmental stores etc. (1 min to 4 min), Little India (4 min walk) and so many other places. Staff always respective and attentive so where the problem is. Sorry Sir, Reviews are important and sometimes it goes into wrong hands...... Can't say more then that. Last but I must reply you; you talk about 90% my staff said; as we were thinking that you was very happy at the time of your stay and we asked you many times and you was very comfortable with everything. So every body expect the reward in some sense, same did we. Are we wrong in this?

I had a great week in Singapore, the hostel is very near to the next MRT station, it is small, so you get to know everyone who lives there. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they give you great tips how to spend the day and you really feel welcome and 'at home'. I would go there again and I would reccomend it to my friends

Overall, we enjoyed our stay . Although our room was small and without a window, it was clean, we could store our luggage under the bed and the air con worked well. The kitchen bench area was always clean however we were unsure if the bathrooms were cleaned. The excellent location near Bugis MRT, the beautiful Bussorah street, local eateries and shops was most convenient. Thank you especially to the friendly and attentive staff who took a personal interest in us, and made us 'feel at home!'

Cold shower in two out of three showers. The dobbel room was okay, but not really inviting. Good air condition, though. Greate location in Singapore - close to MRT and the best Roti Prata you can get in Singapore is just around the corner. Other hostels are better in Singapore, but this has a very good location and not too expensive. you just have to consider what is most importat to you.

Dear Guest: We are actually concentrating what a guest needs, generally a BACKPACKER is moving RTW and for that he/she wants to save money. If you too want to save money, somewhere you have to compromise as we are not able to give you the full hotel standards under a budget price. For you it must be a very comfortable mattress, secure room, friendly staff and cleaniness is important & that we are giving you. Other hostels those are expensive also; same we can do, but the whole day you are visiting Singapore and coming back you are getting comfortable room, I think we did our best in that. Thanks for your review.

Indeed, we were negatively surprised about the poor conditions of the hostel. All rooms are without a window, the facilities very poor, kitchen especially. It seems like a garage turned into a provisional hostel. We had to ask to change the sheets since they were used already. The beds were too soft. And there was a plastic sheets under the cotton ones.

We are surprised with your review. Don't know why you have given like this without understand the stuff. The rooms which are not having windows under the Singapore Fire Safety law, so that you can be 100% safe. But you are missing the part of ventilation system. You are forgetting the part of new aircons. The bed sheets if you not feel that it is good, you tell us to change, with a smiling face we change it, what else you expect sir? The mattresses are so comfortable for you guys, till now everyone praise it. Very thin very special plastic sheet protects you from bed bugs etc. Please appreciate the stuff which is for your own safety and comfortability. About Kitchen Area, please that is not a kitchen area, that is a common room with the inclined sofa sets etc. Please don't mind, if you need full standards, spend something extra and stay in some star hotels. I am very sorry for my statement if you feel bad somehow. But Sir, you must be honest in your reviews; as this really affects the business. Thanks for your stay please.

Being my first experience at backpackers, I certainly enjoyed the 3 nights stay. Walking distance of 5 - 8 minutes from Bugis MRT, complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day, free and yummy breakfast, very good internet connection, clean environment and not to forget, the warmth hospitality and friendliness of hotel staff. Will recommend Feel At Home to anyone who's planning to visit Singapore.

Nice and friendly staffs but I had a hard time understanding what they said and their service was a little unorganized. Good location but it was impossible to catch a cab in the late evening. Overall it is fine for the price.
