Need to improve the hostel cleanliness. I saw a blood stains on my friend bed sheet, also toilet cleanness. Furthermore the map show is not so accurate. As we follow the map given using Duanku Hutong, the people might go confuse on the T junction. So I suggest to use Pudusi Hutong that more straight forward way to hostel. Just remember after forbidden city east gate> police station opposite to Pudusi Hutong sign board and public toilet board>pass the garden >hostel

Great hostel, good food and very friendly staff! =) I will defenetly stay there if i go back to Beijing. *thumbs up*

The location of the hostel is nice and a close walk to tourist attractions. Although if you go into the Forbidden City it is a 30 minute walk back to the hostel from the exit. The room was a bit dirty and only had one window that lead to another room (weird), and we stayed for two nights but they only gave us enough toilet paper for one day. Overall it was decent for the price and a good location.

Thank you for your comments, and because some guests to waste it, so please ask the reception .

Some of the staff speak extremely poor english, which led to unnecessary and lengthy discussions when we wanted to check out earlier. Our room didn't have a window. Worst were the facilities: Two toilets and two showers for the entire hostel. Additionally, a shower and a toilet were in the same stall, which meant that if two people were taking a shower at the same time, nobody could use the toilet and vice versa. Generally, the toilets/showers were not clean.

Hello. Thank you for your comments. Our room is limited, so there can be no other place can take a bath, if you are definitely not in the same time。thanks!!!

This place is in a good location its about 15-20 min from Tiananmen Square/Forbidden City, but its more like a little hotel then an actually hostel. They do have computers you can use for free and a little bar area, but I didn't see too many dorm like rooms, and the lounge area was a single couch. Now if you need somewhere to sleep in between visiting things then its a great place. If you want a place to meet other travelers and to hang out with people then maybe somewhere else would be better.

The hostel is quite well located, 10 min by feet to forbidden city. Staff was open-minded and helpful and spoke good english. The bathroom was a bit dissappointing I´d rather call it a shower with integrated toilet and basin and it also had a smell that lingered over the whole room. For me, the hostel was totally Ok for two nights, but you should not expect to much from the room!

Instructions for the shower would have been helpful as we spent the first two showers cold without realising we had to plug in the boiler. However whenever asked, staff were eager to assist which was incredibly helpful! The location was very convenient to both sites and the subway which made travel around Beijing much easier - overall a great hostel!

I thought everything was fine. The bathroom was smelly but that is what you get with the plumbing in China. Just had to make sure the holes to the drains were covered. Toilet paper needs to be real. It was like gauze paper. We thought that was what the paper was like in China until we went to a different city and it was softer there.

It;s a nice place for who with low budget and backpacker. I can easily get public transport on the main road, and there are lot of mini market.

it is ok but you can find better hostels for a cheaper price (i tried several during my trip)

The gem of Beijing. The chinese staff was extremely friendly and even invited us for dinner. The hostel has kind of a hotel vibe and has a small bar at the entrance. The bar is a good place to relax and because the lack of a lot of foreigners a good place to meet locals. Just talk to the staff. Showers are okay but there are just 2 of them. The tour to the wall was okay, a bit too much touristic but doable. Location was perfect, right next to the Forbidden city.

Staff were completely useless (huge surprise as everyone reviewed them as great). The same girl was on through the duration of our stay and she was so unhelpful and unfriendly. Half hour away from tian anmen square was good but the metro is so good in beijing I'd stay somewhere further away and nicer. The toilets were disgusting, shower right beside the bin full of smelly toilet paper If you have to stay at least get an ensuite, but I wouldn't recommend it

15-20min walk to closest train station which is right across from Tiananmen Square and the south gate of the Forbidden City. Stayed in private room for 4 nights and on 4th night spotted two cockroaches in bathroom. Internet did not work during my entire stay except for the lobby computers. Offer tours of most but not all Great Wall sites and acrobat, opera shows. Staff was generally helpful but lack of English speaking skills of some receptionists could be frustrating at times, Wolf was great!

Awesome place! Loved the free internet and VPN as well!! Friendly staff, good food and quiet.

The hostel is very well located, it's a good stay for sleeping, having a shower and then discovering Beijing. The only problem is the fact that there are only two restrooms for six rooms. And the restrooms are small rooms containing the toilet and just above the bowl: the shower head...

Supernice and helpful staff. Location best possible in Beijing. Nice and cosy bar. When I come back to Beijing, definately will stay there.

Dormitory is too small for having 5 beds inside.

Our taxi driver from the airport had some difficulties finding this place, perhaps directions could be better. Besides this everything was great. We were able to walk to a lot of places like forbidden city and the night market. Subway station is close by. Loads of places to eat nearby as well. Room was basic but we are not complaining for this price in this location. Staff nice and helpful. Hostel has a bar to lounge around in with a cold beer which was nice.

Great location! The staff were friendly and helpful. A little expensive for the standard of rooms but well worth it for the location.

Stayed at the Feel Inn and was very happy with how friendly and accommodating the staff were. Definitely one of my better hostel experiences.
