This is the perfect place for you to stay at if you're looking for a calm and relaxed get-away in a true neighborhood in Barcelona. The staff is incredibly helpful and always ready to hang out and share a laugh with you. We started referring to the place as "home" for our stay in the city immediately! ;-) Just be prepared for rather small private rooms - we had a double with separate bathroom that hardly fitted two beds and a table inside.. the atmosphere makes up for everything though!

As a frequent traveler and hostel guest, I can honestly say that I've never stayed at a friendlier, more laid-back hostel. If you don't feel like going out, staying in and socializing with the other guests/staff is a great alternative here. The location is great as well, especially for people who don't want to stay in the city center with all the noise and party people. The metro station is close and there are several grocery stores and bakeries around for people who prefer to cook at the hostel

great hostel, love the beautiful roof, the main lounge area and kitchen is good for meeting new people, the staff are all very friendly, and treat you like family. the area is quite far from the centre, but me and my friend loved the suburban vibe and looking into the daily life of the locals.

Hostel is very clean and comfortable in a typical neighbourhood. The roof terrace and big garden were great to relax in after being out in the busy centre. The dorms, bathroom and kitchen were clean but the best part is the amount of communal space. The staff were great, really welcoming and friendly and made the place like a home away from home.

Overall great experience at the garden house. Amazing people and service and great atmosphere to relax and meet people on their travels. The Horta district is a great neighborhood to have an authentic experience in barcelona and I felt very safe in that I did not have to worry about my possessions in the hostel. I recommend staying here very much.

The team at Feetup were incredibly friendly, remembering all the names of guests and making us feel at home. The room was clean, with everything you need in a hostel room, but the shared common areas, including kitchen, tv room, garden etc make this hostel stand out. Huge thanks to Felipe and the team for making it a pleasurable stay!

Garden House had such a great atmosphere and the staff was great! Everyone was so friendly and willing to help. The first night they sat down with us and showed us on a map what we should see in Barcelona.

Had an incredible time at Garden House Hostel. The staff is terrific - very friendly, accommodating, and treat guests like friends. Location is a bit from the city center, but the two metro stops nearby make all attractions very accessible and the neighborhood is safe with grocery stores and small bars and restaurants. The atmosphere in the hostel is relaxed and comfortable; we were more than happy to spend a night in with other hostel-goers. Highly recommend this hostel and would love to return

Feet Up was the perfect hostel for our trip to Barcelona! The staff was extraordinarily helpful, knowledgable, and friendly -- the stay couldn't have been better! It will be difficult to find another hostel anywhere that will compare. I will be returning the first chance I get!

I will recommend it if you do not care staying in a neighborhood 30 minutes from downtown. It is clean, safe but far from everything.

Loved this hostel! The staff were so friendly and worked with us in every way. They helped us out right until the end when we had a little trouble with the taxi. It was a great way to start of spring break and I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone staying in Barcelona.

On this occasion, I did not stay from 25 - 27 January as they had a problem with the heating system. The hostel informed me well in advance and asked if I wanted to book alternative accommodation.
