The terrace at this hostel is fantastic. The location is pretty inconvenient... Even though the Barcelona metro is great, it still took a long time to get to the city center. Otherwise, the hostel is relatively clean, quiet/calm, and a good place to hang out.

I loved my time at the Garden House! The staff are so friendly and helpful, and it had a great relaxed atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and plan the next stages of my trip. It is a metro ride away from the more active parts of Barcelona, but I didn't mind that--the hostel was more quiet at night because of it.

I am not sure if my review counts for anything since Garden Hostel was my first hostel stay but I loved it. Good atmosphere, helpful staff, fair price. Some other guests complain about the location but personally i liked it (plus they chose it so why are they whining?). A little ways out of Barcelona but close to a metro stop. I liked being out in a quieter and safer neighborhood. Their terrace is fantastic. Would stay there again! Great place!

I had a great time at the hostel, the staff was great and the place was clean and comfortable. The location is obviously out of the center but that was the reason I chose it to try to find a place that wouldn’t be too chaotic. The city center was easily accessible but the location allowed me to get away from it when I wanted to. Met a lot of cool people from all over and everyone at the place, staff and guests, were quite friendly. Good experience.

You are the most beautiful hostel staff that I have ever met. LITERALLY SERIOUSLY ATTRACTIVE!!!!

Nice hostel, good lockers for dorms, too expensive but then everywhere is in Barcelona. About 25minutes on the train from the centre but very easy to manage.

It was so far away and also very loud. The people were nice and the atmosphere was great!

Staff very helpfull, taking care about quietness during night, very clean, thank you. Our room perhaps too close from kitchen and a automatic machine for drinks just under window that makes noise regularly , covering birds songs :o). See You.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving tips on the places to go, how to save money, and directions. Very interactive and personable. Access to 2 metro stations and different grocery stores with only a little walking involved, but be prepared for hills. Bathrooms were fairly clean and towels and lockers are free and convenient, with only a deposit that is returned at the end.

Fantastic kitchen- had all I needed :) And the hostel itself was lovely and home-like in the lobby/ courtyard area- a great spot to chill out

Lovely hostel with garden, but quite far from the center. I had a tiny single room (roughly 4 m2) which was separate from the main building. The room was peaceful and the bed was comfortable. There was a good guest kitchen and several common rooms, one of them had PCs and TV, another one had TV. There were several good bathrooms available. Some of the staff was nice, some not so nice. You had to pay for breakfast separately. There was also a laundry service which helped a lot. WiFi worked well.

The people working here are really friendly, helpful and certainly go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. I especially liked the relaxed atmosphere, the great music and sitting on the balcony.

Really good hostel with amazing staff! Only downside is the location, it's near metro and everything but it takes some time to get to the centre if there's where you're gonna spend a lot of time. But the staff is really, really helpful and there's a nice atmosphere and great terrace and other outdoor areas!

It was a really nice stay, the staff is very helpfull, the house and garden are beautiful... We will come back for sure :)
