Heilean was a very pleasant and super host, and made some great homemade granola. Definitely a plus to hear a charming Irish accent in the middle of Transylvania.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Clean and in a great location, with really helpful staff. The hostel has interesting traditional decor and serves a lovely homemade breakfast. Really peaceful, laidback vibe and location yet still only a 2min walk from the main squares and a 5min walk from the train station. Through meeting other travellers I happened to see inside a couple of other places I was looking at when booking which supported my opinion further that Felinarul is the place to stay.

Not unlike Sibiu as a whole, this is an undiscovered gem of a hostel run by the very friendly husband and wife team. Complete with a fantastic restaurant next door, this reminded me very much of somewhere on the coast in England so full of home comforts. Great price, and character. One of the most fun hostels we visited on the trip (aided by the dart board).

Basically one of the best hostels you can go to.

Very nice and friendly atmosphere in the hostel. We felt very welcomed when we arrived. Good breakfast but too little for our hungry stomachs.
