the subway is realllly far away. the bus system is really complicated to use from this area. there is only one toilet for the whole facility, and that one has a shower in it. i often had to wait almost an hour just to use it. there is a karaoke bar down stairs so its very noisy at night. the keeper is a very nice person but is often not around. its a bit more expensive than what it is worth. there are cheaper places that are nicer and more convenient in this country.

Good place in Singapore for a short trip. Hostel sleeping wasn\'t too bad, although not completely comfortable at night due to the heat. Bar/restaurant downstairs is great if you can hit it during the happy hour times. Staff was able to give me the breakdown on the Singapore transit system in a few minutes and I was on my way throughout the city. Good experience.

Needs a insect screen on windows, got bitten badly when other occupiers turned off air conditioner at night. Mosquitoes attacked. Other than that it's great, easy to get to and from airport for short stays.

If you are wanting to get any sleep think again. The dorms all run into one so even if your in the female dorm you have to go through the mixed dorm.

one staff member, david, was a bit abrupt but i think thats how some singapore people are anyway. i left my stuff there and travelled and it was all fine and safe when i returned. close to the airport was sweet for a cheaper cab. pretty clean and heaps of good food choices v. close by.

very nice location in east coast except that its a bit far from the central business district/shopping area. but nevertheless peaceful & ok to stay.

Was a great experience with such a warm welcome and assistance from staff. Just noticed some dirt on floor around the bed.
