Location was excellent for an early morning transfer to the airport, but wouldn't be as good for exploring downtown. There were buses on the street, and plenty of taxis. Our private room was small but well appointed, it had a window and furniture. The place seemed very clean.

Cheap, decent hostel. Had to take a bus to the MRT but near a lot of good bus routes. The owner was very nice and provided a lot of useful information. Quiet atmosphere, front door is locked at 1AM so no people walking around noisily. Nothing for breakfast but some toast and instant coffee.

The Aircon in the main mixed beds was quite noisy (not the normal air blowing but a slight vibrating sound) but they say they've looked into it now although i can't verify that. Girls room is accessed by walking through the mixed dorm. It's good for location to the east coast park if that's what you're after and there's a lot less traffic which is good as it's hard to find nice open space in singapore

This hostel was not very clean, especially the bathrooms. Also, the evening staff person was asleep on the job at the desk. On the positive side, the day staff person was greatly helpful with maps and advice about getting around by public transportation.

Small hostel with only 5-6 rooms I think. Nice kitchen with free breakfast every morning. The room is basic but you have A/C, fan and a closet. The staff is helpful but is not always in the reception, including times when they should stay there. I expected a better location before my staying. You have to take a 30-40 min bus to go to the Marina, flyer and other interesting places. Also no cheap restaurants around, just a 7 eleven. The airport is close, just a 15 minutes bus and a short walk.

The staff was very nice but small room without air con, the fan was covering the noise of the bar downstairs but was not enough for a very hot night. We only stayed one night in between 2 flights so I suppose it was better than the floor of the airport. Showers were alright but shared with too many people. People stayed in the kitchen talking all night and were loud (it is right next to the rooms), couldn't tell it they were working or living here though. Didn't see breakfast in the morning.

The staff were great. Very polite and friendly, always ready to help. They went above and beyond our expectations. We were late for airport so they drove us to the bus stop and then gave us some money for the bus as we did not have small change for the bus, we didn't ask for the money he just gave it to us. So nice it blew us away.

I felt welcome when I arrived late in the evening. I didn't get a chance to interact with travellers as I left very early the next morning. The brief stay worked for me as it gave me a chance to rest before my next flight.

The hostel is close to the airport, which is why I started there. It's close to the beach, park and restaurants which is nice. The staff is also nice. However, the bed is unclean. Theres blood stain on the sheet. Also theres only two bathrooms for the while place, you could be waiting a while for your turn.

I chose this place because it was cheap and closer to the airport. Luckily the neighbors were outside when I arrived because the front desk would not open the door. The rooms smelled badly and I was forced to get up and leave the hotel for bug extermination. I had just traveled 25 hours to get there and had to get up and leave after 5 hours of sleep. I feel the the rooms were not clean and the staff did not even try to speak to me. It is much better to stay near ChinaTown.

I've booked a double room with my girlfriend. The room size was ok, but without a window and bathroom. Coffee, tea and toast were available all over the day, not only at breakfast, thats cool. It's not a big hostel so the atmosphere is quite familiar. Staff was very nice and helpful. There were just two bathrooms, just one with a washbasin, so its possible to wait some min. if you need the bath. A bar is downstairs, but for plenty of money. A bus station to the centre is opposite of the hostel.

A lovely place to stay. Earnest friendly staff and a cozy little hostel. Stayed there for a layover flight. 5 minute walk to the bus stop, which takes you directly to the airport. Not one bad thing to stay. Go there!

Very friendly staff. Hostel with a good vibe. Far from any MRT station - which means you'll have to use the extensive bus system (get an EZlink card): ask the manager which bus goes where and he will help you. I hope the bed bug problem I had was taken care of, as discussed with the manager. Otherwise an excellent stay.

We stayed for 1 night during a stop over. We stayed in he double room 'poppy'. Great hostel, clean and convenient. The 30% off at the bar downstairs was good too.

Less than $10 taxi ride from airport. Incredibly helpful staff, all you can eat bread, jam, tea, coffee 24/7. Loads of activities to choose from and a really friendly place. Much better than other Singapore hostels I've stayed in. The best nice sleep my friend and I have had in months-cool dorms with duvets makes for an excellent nights sleep!

Double room without window, smells bad, adapter to rent 10S$, towel 2S$, when i paid for staying with card, was blocked sum higher then i needed to pay, instead of 155 they tried to take 199S$.Spend few hours for negotiations with them and their bank. Finally my sum blocked for 30 days, bank sayd that sum was not taken and it will return to me. So need to wait. Stuff is very good, helped with calls to their bank to resolve this issue. Hostel located next to airport bus stop.
