Very nice stay, but hard to get on computers to check emails. The '15 minute' limit was not enforced at all. That's OK if no one is waiting, but there were people watching movies whilst there was a queue of people waiting. Also the '11pm lights-out' was likewise unenforced, meaning that guests had to be the bad cop and ask people who were reading if it was OK to turn off the lights. Heard a minor altercation when one guy didn't want the lights off. Not really the guest's place to police that.

Big thanks to Mohan, Chris and Ryan for their all out service. They have an amazing roof top. The place is well maintained. We even have enjoyed barbecue party. Best Hostel.

Loved our stay at Fernloft KL Chinatown aside from it's strategic location, they also have very friendly and accommodating staffs. They were very willing to help us especially when asking for directions around the City. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and relatives, and I would definitely stay at this place again when I visit Kuala Lumpur again or in Singapore.

The best thing about this place is the roof, where the free breakfast (bread/jam/peanutbutter) is served and occasionally even dinner (I was lucky to be around for this). Its clean and very centrally located. The dorms are clean, cold and quiet. And the staff is really great! My plans got messed up and I ended up only being able to stay one of the two days I'd reserved on HW. Even though you're supposed to have to pay for any nights reserved, they were able to charge me just 1 night.

Execellent hostel. All the staff were very helpful. I am very impressed. All in all it has been a very positive experience. I highly recommend FERNLOFT.

The Fernloft is one of the best hostels i ever stayed with! From a convenient mattress in an airconditioned room over the hot showers to the friendly and helpful staff!! Everything is basic but clean and in a good condition! We liked it very much here and will come back!

Great hostel. An excellent place to stay and for sure you will get good value for your money. Mohan, Chris and Ryan make it an amazing place to stay. The hostel is located at a strategic location nearby train station, puduraya bus terminal. Had a great time there and would surely recommend this hostel to all my friends.

It´s clean, safe,24/7 reception, it has security doors and lockable locker storage. The kitchen is directly on the roof terrace of this building. So it´s little bit unusal to cook outside, but still clean. There is free breakfast every day! The staff is nice, except the one chinese looking guy. His unfriendly and he seems to be sleepy all the time. The Hostel is directly in chinatown near the centre market. So you will find everywhere a shop or restaurant. I would definitely come back again! ;)

Facilities in the kitchen such a spoon, fork, plate are not enough for guests. And the kitchen's shelves are not clean and tidy.

Affordable price. Nice rooftop. Free barbecue party. . Definitely will stay again at FERNLOFT.

The toilets at 2nd floor are not easy to flush. There was no window in my 6 female dorm, also my friends private room. Dont know why some staff live there. The fridge on top floor be filled with lots of food looked like belong to staff. Staff are friendly anyway.

The major issue we had was that during our entire stay the downstairs bathroom was under renovation, this meant we had to keep going upstairs and the toilets were often dirty. We also had an issue finding the hostel at night, so more precise directions from the station would be helpful. Otherwise the hostel staff were friendly and I really liked their rooftop area.

A perfect place to stay in KL.. Price is reasonable..Very convenient.. Friendly staff CRIS and RYAN.. I would really recommend this to all travelers like me.. It was a great stay at Fernloft KL :)

The hostel is in a very good location! All the best of KL, historic or shopping is within a close walking distance! Would stay here again when I visit KL.
