The air con is turning off during the day so the room is very hot. The checking is at 2 pm so if you arrive earlier yo have to wait. The reception is close from 5am to 9am so becarfull if you arrive in that hour because is nobody there.

Cracking hostel this, great value for money. Got everything you need in a good location. Staff were friendly and helpful always. And, most importantly, the beer is cheaper than at 7/11. Result!

Great staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent location, bear MRT station right opposite Geo hotel. I found more people knew where this was rather than the station. Happy backpacking!

Some of their staff are Filipino which made me "at home" in the hostel. They are also very accommodating especially Ryan. The hostel is also very accessible from the Train station (Pasar Seni) and very near Chinatown. You really get the value of your money. Will recommend your hostel to my friends!

Simply amazing.I enjoyed my stay in fernloft from 8th may - 10th may 2013 so much that i came back to stay one day more. I simply liked the quality of their service, sclean beds and toilets, breath taking view from their roof top garden and of course the friendly behaviour from each and every staff there. It was awesome. The last but not the least the staffs over there are very cooperative and security they provide is excellent. Thanks Fernloft for making my stay pleasent.

The entire top floor smelled like wet carpet, the smell is overwhelming and the beds are flimsy, the wifi is not reliable at all. I am glad I only stayed here for 1 night!

the location is very near the lrt station, the famous central market, the petaling china town and a short walk to the merdeka square and the KL museum. The male staff assigned night time was courteous and very helpful. And most of all. you get the best value of your money... a free breakfast to go with it...

I stayed here for 3 nights. It was good. Good location not far from MRT and I also can walk to Bird Park. There was 7-11 close to the hostel. Nice staff.

Nice hostel, great location. Friendly staff right near central markets where it's easy to grab cheap meals. Easy to get around, train station 1minute walk away. We had two rooms at this hostel one was quite small with no window and one was a good size and with a big window. Both with aircon and both acceptable for this amount of money. Would go back next time in KL :)

All the staffs and the boss Mr Mohun are kind, polite, helpful, understanding. Nice cool air conditioned reception with free access to computer, satellite TV. Excellent location 2 minutes from Train Station Pasar Seni and 1 train station to KL Sentral train station, 8 minutes walk from Pudu Raya Bus Terminal. Very convenient stop over base in Kuala Lumpur - best value for money.

Excellent safety standards and air conditioning in every room. Free Wifi and free use of computer next to the reception. Easy to reach by train or by bus. I enjoyed my stay there and just checked in the second time. A really good hostel if you dont mind dorms with a lot of people :)

Fernloft offers an oasis amid the chaos of this area of KL. Step off the "crazy" sidewalks into the entryway and feel the stress alleviate. Very secure, peaceful environment and amiable, sociable fellow guests. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and appreciated. I can find no fault in this establishment.Very comfortable
