Very good location, next to subway and train station (3 minutes walk), and in the heart of chinatown. Very secure place and nice staff. But, extremely bad rooms, smelled horrible, not at all clean and no windows (at least our room, that was a private one). Hot like hell.

Hi, thanks for your valuable comment, we always emphasis on the hostel cleanness and we take pride on doing it. Our hostel air cond operates from 7pm - 9am the next morning and once the air cond is stop working the guest can on the fan that is installed in the room. Thanks again, Fernloft KL Team

The female dorm smelled really bad. It made it uncomfortable to be in the room.

Hi, thanks for your valuable comment, We have put up notices at the lobby area as well in the room for the guest to see and follow, some of the guest hang their wet or damp towel or wet shoe or socks in the room that creates uneasy smell in the room. If any guest complaint at front desk staff the will assist to take the necessary action by ask the guest to remove their belonging to smells. Thanks again, Fernloft KL Team

I was on the first floor in the female dorm. A bit cramped and the noise from the lounge was a bit annoying at times. Breakfast upstairs was so-so. Mainly toast and some jam. But it is worth the price to stay there for a bit.

Hi, thanks for your valuable comment, normally we would inform the guest at the lobby area to practise silent so it will not be distrubing the sleeping guest. Thanks again, Fernloft KL Team

As a budget hostel, everything is nice and definitely on budget. Thank you very much. Just a little input to increase the security because when I was stayed there, someone has lost her precious and expensive wedding ring.
