The hostel location was amazing, and it had a very friendly atmosphere. For the price, the hostel was definitely worth it. The only thing that my group has issues with were the bathrooms. Although there were toilets and showers (what more could you really ask for?), there were difficulties to get them to work.

It is hard to find a location because of a super small front sign ! The room is quite ok, but I don't like the toilet. It was out of water sometimes and the shower is really weak and slow. It took me a long time to wash my hair :'( Washing is expensive because you have to pay RMD 10 for only clothes washing, not drying (you have to hang them on through the night) whereas you can walk only 5 minutes and you can find a washing service with a similar price and you have got them all !

On the first place, I would like to thank hostel world for having such a wonderful platform for backpackers . The variety is awesome !! About Fernloft KL, the reach is very convenient for back packers. Staffs were very friendly and cleanliness were kind of acceptable grade. Overall, it's definitely a value for money !! One concern : I felt a bit of suffocation and It would be good if the 24 bed dorm has got some kind of exhaust.

Fernloft was really clean and the staff was great and helpful. The rooftop deck was good for breakfast and prebar beers. Great location, super close to the metro and markets. Nothing really to complain about! Had a good time there.

Good location, near chinatown. Need keycode to get in to the building and another to get into the hostel location. Each bed had its own nightlight and electric plug

I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm and the room was very small as they clearly try to fit as many beds as they can into a small space. The shared bathrooms were not very clean. There was a good roof top area where you could cook and hang out. The place was cheap and at the end of the day you get what you pay for. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone but I also wouldnt tell anyone not to go here.

Ok stay, but dirty rooms and showers. Very kind owner, though. Be early for breakfast, or there is nothing left for you.

We stayed 3 days in Fernloft Hostel @ KL.The location is super. It's directly at a main road in the middle of Chinatown ca. 1km away from the Pudaraya bus station, where all the express-buses drive to Singapore, Melakka, Penang, Cameron Highlands,... The Hostel itself is really nice. The rooms are ok, but not really comfortable. Just the bed, a little cupboard and some lockers...no extra lights or tables. We had a weird smell in the way to our room. The A/C, fan was working, the stuff was nice:)

Very clean and well organised. I found some of the staff to be a bit unhelpful at times. The door to my floor that i was staying on towards the end of my stay was broken

Fern Loft is a nice place to stay with a good location and staff. The breakfast is only toast with jam, butter, and peanut butter. There is a coffee machine as well. It's a quiet hostel, not for the party type, but I met some great travelers there.

The hostel is in a perfect location not far from the main train station and a Lrt on walking distance. There are some tourist location that are in walking distance and also the botanic garden. My time in the hostel was good no complaints and the staff served me well. I like the atmosphere it is not hard to make new friends, because it felt like a group of friends coming together.
