The only hassle we experienced was finding the hostel because the instructions from Hostelworld was to alight at Plaza Rakyat Stn (650 meter walk) instead of the nearer Pasar Seni Stn (150 meter walk). Super thank you to fellow Filipinos ate Reigna a.k.a. "King" and Kuya Ryan (? I forgot your name kuya, pasensya! Ü) They have a 4-bedded room which was really fit for me and my friends. It was turned to a private room. Excellent WiFi connection, the place was CCTV monitored and the Common area was
LOVED the fern and the loft wasnt bad either. However a large slug shaped man was in my dorm almost 24/7. His over pervaded around the hostel in such a way that at points during my ferny ferny stay, I found myself having to hoist myself up out my where I was sat to gain fresh outdoor air (either via the medium of the roof terrace or the street itself). You stay classy now ferners!!

The staff are friendly and helpful, hostel us very clean and in a good location. Has a nice chill out area with bean bags etc. a little noisy at night but think that's because our room was by the front desk. Over all, a good stay.
nice place. nice staff and everything is near.
Friendly staff and clean, simple dorms. Toilet and shower areas were kept immaculate and wifi was good on the first floor (not so when you are on levels 2 and 3). A free shuttle to the centre of town runs right outside the door which made getting about easy. Close to central market also. Recommend highly.
We were in a private room and had air conditioning which was fantastic! The bathrooms and common areas were always clean. The map they give you is not the best (we were given a better one at KLCC and saw the same one at the Art Gallery). I asked the staff to help me find a restaurant and she said 'go out and turn left and walk a bit', 'can you show me on the map?' 'it's just over there' 'I'm not going now...' 'it's around the corner'. Not very helpful. (we found it later anyway)
DO NOT BOOK TICKETS WITH THEM!!! I booked my bus ticket to Malacca with them 1 day before departure and paid 24RM. The pickup was 1.5 hours late so I missed my bus at 10am. Then they arranged me a free taxi to the bus terminal and gave me 10RM so I could buy the ticket myself. However the ticket was over 14RM eventually. So it's better to book elsewhere or you will be ripped off!
I really liked the helpful and friendly staff! Great location and felt really safe, because of the card you need for the doors and the personal locker. The hostel is also a good place to meet other travellers.
They need to work on the internet. It can be very slow and not responding many times during the day.
good hostel. the 24 bed dorm had lots of room for everyone. even though there aren't many bathroom facilities, i never had to wait. near china town, good access to the lrt and train that goes to batu caves. overall, good value for money.
Arriving at the front door, i was buzzed into a tall stairway then again into the main reception first impressions very secure. Ryan booked me in and was really helpful with information. The rooms although very large contained a locker for each bed and plenty of space for everyones bags. Toilets and showers worked well. WiFi was great and the common area was comfortable with a good TV. Close to the train to get around the City to Petronas Towers and a short walk to China Town. Go for it.

I was only there for a short stay but I would definitely recommend staying here. It's in a really good location in kuala lumpur in the heart of china town loads of shopping and nightlife and right across from the train and plenty of stuff to do. The staff was also super friendly and helpful, security was also very good with key card entry to the hostel and to each dormitory floor. Fun place.
Prime location, friendly staff, great value. 1st choice for kl!
This hostel can be at good rating because the people working there, the staff are nice and smart, the room is less impressive to normal.
There are no windows in the room. The beds are for children, because if someone moves in the bed the other one can not sleep. (Bunk beds)
The workmen continued until very late, keeping people awake, there was nobody at reception when we needed them at around 9pm but apart from that, we had a good stay.
Fernloft is the best choices for traveler. Its really value for money. The staff are really great and its offer a first class facilities. The place are clean and have a big space that make me feel like a home when i stayed here. I fully recommend this hostel to all my friends whenever they come to KL for a visit.
