Upon arrival I was informed that they had no recollection of my booking and had to find alternative accommodation

Close to the giants causeway so good location, has much more potential to be a good place... For backpackers subsisting on toast and cheap jam, the breakfast supplied may seem good - but scrambled eggs cooked to oblivion in the microwave just tops the horrid breakfast. Inflexibility on meals left us with pot noodles from the vending machine for dinner - we'd missed the dinner, and offered to pay for the dinner food and cook ourselves (we saw it in the fridge!). Girl in charge is clueless.

All was pleasant, nothing wrong to tell. Quiet place, and Jessica gave us some tips for tourism.

We had a great 2 days the owner went above and beyond for us, and the location is absolutely gorgeous.

Great location within walking distance to the Giant's Causeway. Hostel was clean and tidy. Staff looked after us very well - cooked roast for dinner! Very laid back atmosphere. Would definitely stay there again & recommend to all.

Great little hostel, perfect location right beside the Giants Causeway where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset before returning the the comfort of the hostel and the craic with other travelers in the conservatory. We were travelling by public transport and although the public buses were not frequent it was possible to make our way out to the rope bridge and back to Bushmills by charming other buses/cars travelling either direction. Great walks & fishing rods to rent. Great spot :-)

This is like the best hostel ever!!! The location is great, you can't get any closer to Giant's Causeway. The food is even better: Hot breakfast every morning (you even have a choice between a couple different ones), yummy dinner every night. And in case you do want to buy your own food, the store in Bushmills is just a 30min walk away. Try to come during the week though because when there are lots of people the shower is very crowded and the atmosphere is just homier.

This hostel is pretty much a small house turned into a hostel. Not much security but there are lockers in the rooms. Full kitchen was nice and the girl that worked/lived there was pleasant and cooks you breakfast in the morning. VERY COLD in the rooms during winter but shouldn't be a problem during the summer. Conveniently located right down the road from Giant's Causeway.

The location was great. You could walk to giants causeway and a cute pub called the Nook. The woman who worked there made a great full English breakfast that was included. The sunroom in the back had a great view of the shore and the ocean. The water in the shower was too chilly.

The breakfast being included was a real plus, but dinner being unavailable that day left us rather high and dry. The bedroom was decent, but lacked the homely feeling of the rest of the house. Lockers were provided, but actually our room's door wouldn't lock. The facilities were really good, but there wasn't enough hot water to have a bath. The staff were pleasant, but they did not seem very knowledgeable and so did not inspire us with confidence. Generally a good place.

It was a shame the heating wasn't working but we appreciated being given extra blankets, thank you! Unbeatable location, 5 min walk to the Giant's Causeway and lovely views.

Beautiful view from sunroom. Relaxed feel to hostel and great breakfast cooked by staff. We loved our Irish breakfast that was included in the cost of the room.

Right beside the Giant's Causeway,. Nice sunset on the sea, BBQ place, generous breakfast, free wifi... the bus stop right in front, pretty helpful if you don't have car..

Finn McCool's is the finest hostels I have ever stayed at. The hospitality of the owner William and his staff is second to none. Everything from the beds to the food and service are exceptional and this hostel should be added to any backpacker's list. Situated just metres away from the Giant's Causeway just north of Bushmills, this hostel is in the perfect location for sightseeing and experiencing the true wonder of Northern Ireland. The home is comfortable and clean and feels like home. Lance

It feels like you have walked into Steve’s house. It is incredibly clean and the morning breakfast is something truly amazing! Steve cooks a superb dinner as well. If your thinking of seeing the Giants Causeway, don’t do a tour, stay here. You cannot enjoy the causeway without seeing it at sunrise (even in winter). This place is located in the perfectly position to see the causeway before anyone else is down there! And is only a short walk from Bushmills along an old railway.

Located at the very entrance of the Causeway. Great value for money. Kitchen and living room are cozy and with a good atmosphere, the bedrooms, maybe a little bit too crowded. For a cheap extra you can get dinner as well. Highly recommend it.
