Very friendly people and a nice tea room where we had a very good breakfast! Comfortable rooms, but lack of cleanliness and no key for the door.

The cheapest place to stay near the ring of kerry, safe, all staffs are very friendly, the hostel is clear and has a good breakfast. Then I super recommend this place!

This hostel is a very different set up to the usual beds/wifi/smelly people lounging around all day. It has a top class restaurant, open fires and a Georgian tea room. There is no TV, and as far as I could see no clothes washing facilities but it is smack in the middle of town, in the poshest street in Tralee. There is no bar, ditto. I ate in the cellar restaurant, early bird at bargain price and then spent a happy evening reading in front of another fire, with Michael the night-porter.
