This beautiful hostel was the best hostel we've stayed in in China. It has everything you would like to find in a hostel, great staff that's also fun to hang out with at night, beautiful garden in which they grow their own vegetables of which they prepare very good food and the private room we stayed in was like a hotel room with the best shower we have ever had in China! Would definitely go back here!

I stayed in a double room in the courtyard which was very nice. Good breakfasts, clean, and the staff was so friendly. Location right outside of the old city is good. Not inconvenient, not far. Would definitely stay again.

The staff are top - the food was perfect in big dishes! Portions are enough for you to order just one between two. Two minute walk to the west gate to take a look around dali town - or get a bus to the lake. Showers were hot! Kettle was provided. They have pets little kittens and a puppy! Excellent English speaking staff!

Easy to locate. Just 10 min walk to Dali old city, pedestrian shopping streets. Buses to railway station and Xiaguan pass by just outside the hostel. Excellent food. Wonder where the cook learnt to make such good delicious pizza and prices are reasonable. Staff speaks English and are very friendly. Responded to my email promptly.
