The service is quite good. Although I had a small inconvenience but they solved it for me finally (just wondered if I didn't complain that much, would they let the customers be in such inconvenience?). Facilities are all good enough. Staffs are all friendly. The location is not good as I expected. 10 minutes walk to the nearest MRT station and had to tolerate the bad smell on the road near the hostel.

Owner Comment (Show)
Hi there! :) Thanks for your honest feedback. Sorry to hear that you were not able to locate our hostel in the most convenient way possible, the closest MRT to us is Clarke Quay MRT however if you are coming from Changi Airport then we would always advise guests to drop off at Raffles Place MRT & walk over as it is on the same line as the airport :) As for the bad smell on the road, unfortunately we are not able to ensure the cleanliness of our Singapore roads however, we will see if we can inform the authorities to check on the cleanliness of the roads in our area. Cheers! :)

rooms got high ceilings (wont hit your head if you get an upper bunk).lighting is subdued but not dark.staff is excellent (friendly, helpful, fast, knowledgeable, good teamwork).everything is comfortably clean.cups/utensils/plates never run out.breakfast items quickly refilled.spacious corridors/dining/lounge.if you prefer more quiet, request rooms on the upper floor (reception/check out/washer/dryer/flat screen/dining/internet all on lower floor).hand towel/liquid soap/tissue rolls well-supplied

Upon arrival, my key was supposed to be placed in the late night checkin box, but it wasn't there. So my first impression wasn't that great, but the staff still one me over by being available, helpful, and proactive in engaging with me. Loved having a no shoe policy.

It is a nice hostel, but in my opinion not for backpackers that are not from asia. It could be that I had bad luck, but the other people that stayed there, were for instance living there for a month to apply for a job, and were watching movies in the evening. Bit boring!

it's excellent located, just one block away from underground, five minutes walk to clarke quay and 10 minutes walk to chinatown. it's clean and tidy. but i do wish they've mentioned "no footwear" on their profile.

A nice hostel in a good location. Free breakfast was great. A lot of large noisy families here during my stay, difficult to sleep with their noise, however free earplugs provided did help. Not much of an atmosphere here during my stay, nonetheless it was comfortable.

Excellent location and staff

This was an excellent hostel with a key card system as well as room keys and the locker is big with a built in lock. Great showers-the toilet area smelled like moth balls though. The computers were great and they have a really nice tv and collection of movies. I checked out at 7 am and no one was at the desk so I put my key in the Dropbox. I got an email the next day telling me they would send the key deposit over PayPal which was great.

We only stayed one night in Singapore and therefore did not use all offerings like the washing machine or PC. Our double room was tiny and without window but we loved the decoration and especially the mattress. Everything was very clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was great. Only thing I did not like so much was that we had to go up one floor to use the ladies showers. And the price is quite high. Apart from that all was top and being located in the very centre is fantastic.

Great staff and good value for money in Singapore! Only downside was that dorm with 14 beds were too crowdy. It shouldn't be more than maximum 10 beds. The staff was very helpful and nice!

Staff was very helpful and friendly, the common room was super cosy and the breakfast was tasty as well. However, the showers were not really clean and boys and girls have to share the toilets.
