Everything was ok and I had a good time for the first two nights. However, I completely dislike the fact that the last day I arrived at my room and there was a homeless lady sleeping in one of the beds! I can not understand how a hostel that is reviewed as "for travelers, backpackers" just have the excuse of "if they come with the money, we can not just reject them". It was VERY uncomfortable and the staff didn't do ANYTHING! I had to pay more to change my room for that night.

It smelt weird. Also, you can't flush the toilet paper there, but I heard that was for most of Athens. I was glad we were only staying there for one night for a layover, but it was easy to find, and worth the cheap price.

Best: price, location and staff. Worst: the mattress was uncomfortable. The strings digging into your back. Poor breakfast.

The staff was so so friendly and location was perfect, only 2 minutes from hostel to Matro station and 5 minutes from hostel to city center, there is only one thing need to improve that is hot water should be provided all day and fix it ASAP.

The best part of this hostel is the location. It is right in the center where all of the great sights, restaruants, and bars are. For the money that you pay, it's a pretty good deal. There is a travel agent right in the hostel, which was helpful.Shower times at certain hours, but spread through the day. Problems: Blankets in the room looked dirty, our bed literally broke and we had to take the matress off to fix it, & the guy that worked there was rude and unhelpful! Also VERY loud!

The acommodation is good, the staff very friendly. The breakfast is included, however it's simple ( is not tasty, just bread, butter isnt salted), coffee and tea. Jelly as well. The only problem is because they dont have hot water (just in especifics times - but it's normal in Greece because its expensive). The good thing is they have a cheap pasta and food 3-4 euros and it's delicious!!!! It was a good time in Greece in this hotel :)

Great staff and nice, relaxed common room with a wonderful collection of National Geographics. Toast and real coffee in the morning were nice, but no public kitchen facilities if you want to do your own cooking. Pretty extreme street noise all night, so avoid staying here if that's a problem for you. Also, they're attached to a travel agency, so great if you want to book a tour, but unfortunately it means they don't have much tourist info for independent travellers. Overall an excellent hostel!

The location is excellent. The staff are very helpful. However the cleanliness of the room was NOT good. Dust and dirt on the floor, toilet/bathroom still had hair on floor and in shower. If you want a good night's sleep, then ask for a room at the back of the hostel (not above the common/dining area - noisy guests). Rooms at the front will be on Athenis street - extremely noisy all night with traffic. The free breakfast was adequate and simple, enough to start the day.

We had a double room reserved but when we arrived it was not available. Instead of giving us an option to get our money back, they put us in a tiny room with a single bed. It was a very disappointing stay. Also the hotel needs an elevator. We had to carry our luggage up 5 steep flights. We cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is perfect since it is so near from Monastiraki and Acropolis complex. It is also near from the Metro. What I especially liked is its cleanliness and security. I don't know why, but the last time I was there, there were always police around Monastiraki and the Metro. I and my friends got a private en suite room for four people with a bathroom inside the room. Everyday there was somebody coming to clean up our room. So I found it always comfortable to stay in.

Rundown hostel, which calls itself hotel. Were always running out of bedsheets, toilet paper and hot water. The toilets are stinky and disgusting, the shower stalls are hard to squeeze in, with no place to put toiletries.
