We loved the pool and the movie room. The hostel was really clean but in spite of that a girl in my dorm caught bed bugs. The staff reacted really quickly and desinfected the mattress. I would still recommend staying there.

Great hostel to stay in. Owner of the hostel is very frequently on location make sure everybody is happy. Close to the beach and city center. Quite a way from the shopping mall but therefore there is an hourly shuttle bus available for free.

Loved the pick up, free breakfast, free wifi, great ensuite shower. Not so keen on the mixed dorm, I had two couples snuggled up in the single beds the first night and had to endure some guys lame attempt at seduction the following night. Also, it needs lockers! But good overall.

The support of the extremely friendly staff (the manager in particular) was outstanding! Very much liked the cinema room with tons of movies. Laundry was a bit too pricey ($3 at most other hostels incl detergent), bathroom in 5 bed dorm needs some remodeling. Great overall atmosphere, not a party hostel.

Great hostel :) Big industrial fridge with plenty of space, cinema room is very good (has steps and comfy carpet), helpful staff, 1 minute from the beach and plenty of Fraser Island tour information. Simply great.

By far one of the most welcoming hostels I've stayed at. Bill the manager is so accommodating and is constantly wanting to help you in every possible to make your stay the best it can. Free collection from the Greyhound bus and regular lifts free of charge so you can get some food shopping etc. done. No air-con in the room which didn't help with the smelly people I was staying with, but you generally put up with it because all the facilities are great. EVERYONE GO HERE!

Thanks and great to hear you enjoyed your stay. We are hoping to stretch the budget to have some Air Conditioned rooms for next Summer, which will help with those really hot days......but smelly people will always be smelly people!!!!!! and mostly don't realise it ! Have a trult great holiday ! Regards, Warick GM

The hostel was recommended to me by a fellow traveller, and it really was a great place to stay. Facilities, cleanliness and staff are amongst the best I have experienced in the hostels I have stayed in around Australia.

New hostel partially finished, no aircons in rooms, very hot during summer. Receptionist who is a girl from UK is very arrogant and bossy, lacks poor people skills which can cause bad reputation for the business. Cleanliness moderate and depends on what type of room mates you have.

Didn't get off to a good start with late check in facilities not providing us with a key when we arrived at 2.30am. However this was fully resolved and staff apologetic. Good size 5 bed dorm. En suite could have been a bit cleaner. Nice kitchen and common room area with free BBQ on a Friday. Nice pool area too. Cereal & toast breakfast included along with free shuttle service to Greyhound. Free WI-FI. Staff were really friendly.

One of the best hostels we´ve been so far. Awesome pool, breakfast, unlimited free wi-fi and free shuttle service to the shopping center 5 times a day. Unfortunatly some staffmembers didn´t seem to be in a good temper...

It's a really good hostel. The kitchen is clean and very modern (it's really rarely in hostels), everywhere it's clean, the rooms are big enough, but there's no aircondition just a ventilator. The place is very nice and it's just a five minute walk to the beach. The best is that breakfast and internet is included. I really enjoyed the stay.

Great facilities and brilliant value for money! So good I wanted to stay at the one in Noosa but it was full. :( would definitely recommend hostel to others. Only thing I would maybe say was missing was air con but that's not a big issue as there were fans instead.
