Probably the best hostel I've stayed in anywhere! Good location, shuttle to grocery store and Greyhound bus stop, very clean, fantastic staff, free breakfast (toast, PB

This may just be the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Rooms were good and clean. Beds comfortable. Showers had rain shower heads. Free breakfast. Pool. Loved the living room/lounge area - huge space to hang out in. Big kitchen. Free wifi. Movie room. Friendly staff. Right by the beach. Definitely recommend staying here.

This is the best hostel I have stayed in. Staff are so friendly! Kitchen is large and spotless, and so are the rooms. 100% recommend. :)

The staff not friendly or welcoming. We were asked for a $20 deposit but only had $50 which the receptionist took & stapled to our sheet. On checking out there was only a $20 note on our sheet. We questioned it the receptionist (different person) looked on his screen & eventually said 'ah yes I see what she's done' and told us something about charging $9 a night for something but gave our $50 back. When my partner mentioned he thought it was a bit cheeky they got quite defensive and snappy.

Good place to stay and nice owner! But no shuttle bus to the Premier Motor Service Bus coming from Cairns and leaving to Brisbane. Taxi is 12 to 14$ but the hostel itself is a great one.

Was really grateful for the pick up after an overnight bus journey from Airlie Beach. Was able to check in straight away and have breakfast! Amazing

Lovely place to chill out, great facilities and staff really went out of their way to help, especially with the minibus runs

The best hostel! Warwick is great, such a friendly guy. The rooms are big with comfy beds. Showers are amazing! The social area / kitchen is modern and absolutely huge, everything you need. Wish I could have had more than one night here!

The Manager Bill was really friendly and help you a lot if you need something. This is a good location if you want to go in Fraser Island. Hostel really clean and confortable.

Very clean

This was the best hostel we had so far! The kitchen and the rooms were so clean! The staff was very friendly, so we really enjoyed our stay!!

Thanks for your great review. So glad you enjoyed your stay with us.

It's a bit of a walk into town and to the beach. The room I was looked like it was in the middle of a renovation, it was definitely not finished. One of the showers and one of the toilets were blocked off as they were basically still a construction site. The kitchen and communal areas are awesome but the fridge wasn't working when I was there. This place looks like it been fixed up recently but maybe they rushed the opening because its not nearly finished.

Ab-so-lutely loved it! Best place I've stayed so far! Beautiful living room and an extra room for a cinema! 2 minutes from the beach and the staff will help you with everything. Free breakfast and wifi too! Nothing to complain, would recommand it to everyone!

Lovely hostel right by the beach. Owner is spot on too

Good, quiet place. Unfortunately still being renovated. Showers and washrooms were clean. Great open space with pool, laundry and wifi. About a 10 min walk to the nearest resturant though. Makes up for it by having shuttle service to grocery store. Relatively new hostel so not too many people there, but once it picks up I could see it being a great place.

Hostel is nice but a little bit run down. Free bus to city center or 45 min walk. Free Wifi, Movie room is great. Rooms w/o AC, could be hot in summer. Not every bed has light and power plug. Hope they invest to become more like Noosa Flashpackers.

The location is ok but the open lounge and kitchen area make it super easy to meet other travelers. The facilities are also very clean and the staff was helpful. The pickup from the bus station was also very nice to have.

Amazing hostel, with such lovely welcoming staff. Woulr definitely stay here again!!

Thanks for your great review. We would love you to stay again if you are ever back this way. Glad you felt our staff were welcoming. They love talking to guests and helping them with their holiday plans in Hervey Bay. Enjoy the rest of your travels

The hostel itself was nice enough. Although it was disappointing that the wifi access did not seem to extend to the rooms and was available only in the public areas. The atmosphere in the hostel was a bit awkward, and not as pleasant as in other hostels I have stayed in. The main problem however was one member of staff, name unknown but he was European and extremely rude, to the extent that he made my girlfriend cry. The Australian staff members were much more pleasant so it was a real shame.

Thanks for taking the time to review. We're disappointed you found our staff not to your standard, as until now they receive nothing but praise. Having Free unlimited wifi for all our guests is a bonus most hostels don't offer, in rooms means people don't mix & mingle. Over 4 nights we host different free events to get people chatting, and enjoying each others company, I don't understand the awkwardness. Different personalities and cultures can sometimes be misunderstood, perhaps that was it!

Stayed in Deluxe 8 bed with ensuite. Rooms was made up of bunkbeds. Nice communal seating area and kitchen. No lockers in rooms which means bags are everywhere. Sometimes people steal your bed. Staff were excellent offering tips for future travel.
