The location is excellent! Follow the directions given by the hostel and you will reach the hostel from the main train stn in less than 5 min. There are plenty of good food and shopping nearby as well. Couldn't ask for a better location! We got a private room for 2 and it was tatami style - just mattress, quilt and pillow and no window - so it got a little stinky after 4 days but we could live with that. Toilets are really clean. Free baggage deposit for us to head off to hualien for 2 days.

It's my first night stay in Taipei, and I have to say that the location is extremely good. Wherever you want to go, it will be very easy to go. The only problem is that the floor you stay is different from the reception floor, so people who love to stay with others and know new friend maybe think it is not good enough to communicate with other people.

The hostel is in perfect location in walkin distance of two MRT stations and also have many convenience stores around. Hostel itself make me feel at home with good facility like fridge, kitchen and common area. Staff also speak very fluent english and very helpful. Few downsides is that the mettress is too soft that too much press made my back reach hard bed floor and mattrees itself not fully cover bed which made object fall off. SOme toilet is broken.

Clean and comfortable. The room we took is a little small and without window, though it doesn't make different to sleeping quality. And it's so nice that luggage storage is free no matter how many days we need.

THE ADDRESS FOR THIS HOSTEL IS WRONG ON GOOGLE MAPS AND ON THE HOSTEL'S WEBSITE. HOSTEL WORLD IS CORRECT, BUT DO NOT USE GOOGLE OR THE HOSTEL'S WEBSITE. I spent an hour in a cab without internet or cell phone trying to find this place. Upon arrival I got a giggle and a cursory "I'm sorry." Other than that, the hostel is pretty standard. They don't have large lockers for full size bags, only for small bags.

FFH is not easy to locate, it has very small signage! But the hostel itself is near to Taipei Main Station, makes our traveling much easier, esp going to Taoyuan Airport! I like the atmosphere, blanket, pillow are very comfortable. Clean washroom. I appreciate their honesty, since I lost my belonging there and they post it back to me =) The only downside is we can hear people footsteps as the floor are woods, a bit distracted to go into sleep. Will definitely come here again, worth the money.

I really enjoyed my stay in Flip Flop Hostel. The staff who greeted me (hi Julie!) was very friendly and welcoming. When she saw my sprained foot, she even carried all my things upstairs. Since they spoke good English, I had no trouble communicating and asking for directions. They have an excellent standard for cleanliness in all their rooms and facilities. Everything combined, you really get your money's worth (and more) in this hostel.

The location is convenient to Taipei Train Station and the NTU Hospital station. The toilet is clean and tidy. It is a bit noisy for me as I can hear the hair-dryer roars quite loudly in the toilet in my room. Wifi connection is good, worth stay in this hotel but they do not have a lift so you may need to carry your luggage and climb up the stair while last time my floor is on the 4th floor.

I liked the hostel. Staff was helpful. They could write the name of the hostel in English letters outside. I passed it the first time.
