This was the best hostel I have ever been in - very clean, quiet, with sheets and towels changed daily, huge bathroom shared only between 2 rooms, with free coffee machine, very nice and helpfull staff...the hostel in the very center of Lisbon, in a small central pedestrian street. The only thing is that the kitchen is only for staff, but they were so nice that they let us use it without any problem...we didn't even realize that was not for guests, they were too nice to even tell us so :)

Cheap and clean B&B for travellers who want to have their own space. The rooms are compact but well-equipped and modern. The entrance is well-hidden: Look for "So Musica" sign next to a bank of some kind, enter the dark dirty-looking hallway and you can see a blue neon sign saying "Pensao". Go up two floors and ring the doorbell. The breakfast is located some 50m from the entrance in a hotel. There is a bar just below the windows, so bring your ear plugs with you if you are easily disturbed.

A friendly B
