Right next to the leather market and the Mercado with Da Nerbone--best lampardetto sandwich ever. The staff was really friendly and accommodating, and the rooms spacious with a view of the lively street down below. Downside is that the bathroom was tiny with really only one private shower. Common area/kitchen was small too. However, the tight space really forces the guests to sit together and get to know each other. :)
Pros: Excellent location. Big bed. Spacious room. Fairly quiet at night. Cons: Cramped kitchen. Pretty terrible shower situation - only two and one was a tub with a makeshift partition around it. Lots of stairs up. Staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Fairly good value for money considering how close it is to everything and it really is only a bed to sleep in!
Dirty bathroom, only one sink/shower/toilet for all to share. Beds were ok. Didn't get bed bugs. Great location near the train station. Staff was friendly but speak no English.

The best thing about this hostel is its location : right in the city center. But the rooms are crowded and a bit smelly, there are no lockers, only 2 showers for 20+ people (more like 1 and a half showers actually), and sometimes no staff is there at all. There is a washing machine, which is great, but the clothes get out of it still soaking wet. You get your own keys. The place is pretty clean.
Pretty average place, nothing special. Not enough bathroom facilities and very little hot water. Got a good nights sleep though.
At my arrival nobody was waiting for me, then the guy couldn't find a pair of key to give me. their is no locker in the room. the kitchen was really dirty and you can see that nobody cleaned it with a mop or vaccum since ages. the bathroom is dump all the time and are not clean aswell, and 2 showers for 20 peoples is quite short.
The guy who runs the hostel is super friendly and really nice. The showers are grubbby. Unfortunately, I had a problem on my first night with bed bugs and I couldn't find him on the other nights to be able address the situation. Although it's not his fault, bed bugs are brought in by other guests, I felt that if he was there after the first night and I was able to tell him, I would have had a more positive stay. I ended up spending 30EU on cream as I am allergic. Close to the train station.
Good location and the owner is very friendly.
The staff is very cool, helpful and friendly. A small but lovely hostel. :)
Wonderful, small hostel! Perfect for backpackers and people on the budget. You can't wish for better location

Was a very snug hostel, like a big share house. Lots of leftover things from past guests, like toothbrushes, clothes etc. Staff were barely there, when I checked in I wasn't given a key to get in. Only two bathrooms for 16 or so guests, and no common area except teeny kitchen. A very casual hostel, but in a great location and clean sheets.
The hostel was great for what it's worth. However there weren't any lockers to put your bags in and the entire hostel was very tiny. Though it was very close to everything and the staff was nice, so overall it was a great hostel.
The access from rail station and sightseeing spot is good!
This hostle is ok if you just want a bed but you won't be hanging out enjoying it. It is in an ok location but it is hard to find and poorly labled (handwritten signs). There are 8 beds jammed in a small room so no room to hang out and no common area. One communal bathroom area with a bathtub with a shower or a shower in one of the stalls with a toilet. The bunkbeds are mediocre at best. Guy seemed nice enough but was usually gone. Gave us keys that didn't work as well.
Do not stay at this hostel if you can help it! Hardly one word of the description is true… This place hardly feels like a hostel, more like a shady 2-room apartment with an overflow of people stuffed into it. THERE IS NO KITCHEN and no reception. You have to pay in cash and in the end we just left our keys on the counter because there was no on there to check us out. Also, no A/C. I left the window open and got eaten alive by mosquitos. The place is dirty, cramped and generally unpleasant.
