Very loud room, it's impossible to sleep next to the loud road ( many heavy trucks, metal factory across the street) No more lockers for us available, people sleeping everywhere in the common rooms and on the roof. Full should be full!

I was shocked by the kindness and hospitality shown by the wonderful people at the florentine hostile. From the moment I walked in they made it very clear that anything I needed would be taken care of, be it another pillow, or just suggestions on things to do and how to do them. As someone who was traveling on his own all around Israel, it was great having the florentine as a home base that I could go back to when craving a bed and some friends.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in, mostly down to the relaxed atmosphere - the rooftop terrace is great, encourages people to hang out and meet each other and the staff is great at bringing people together too. In short, it's virtually impossible not to make friends here. The staff are all super helpful and ready to listen to any requests, the place is clean, there's a nice kitchen, Wifi, tea and coffee and simple breakfast. It's located right by Jaffa and ten minutes walk from the beach.

Really enjoyed my time at this hostel, sort of place people feel comfortable to chill on the gorgeous roof terrace (really what makes the place) and meet a cool bunch of people. I'd say great for lone travellers who hope to meet others on their journey.

especially as a 60 something veteran of hostelizing....i fully appreciated the joyful.noises, considerations, and energy of staff and guests. It was never boring. I think I made some friends I will see again stateside.Susan ?, Jo ?.... or en France, eh Pierre? TOOT a L'heurs> Being there during Chavuot just made it all deeper. Exodus 20:10! ....More meaningful.......Thanks/Gramps.

I had a perfect stay at florentine! The breakfast is basic. But when i couldnt sleep 1 night because it was to warm and without ventilation in the room, the next night they turned the aircon on. the owner asked me the day after if it was better now. on my last day i had to check out at 11, but as my plane was at 5 am the next morning, i could leave my stuff, have a shower and sleep on the couch for a few extra shekels. Really nice. There is a great vibe in the hostel!

Good location only a short walk to sea / great bars / city / Jaffa. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is really relaxed. Strongly recommend if you're travelling on your own or in a group as many like minded travellers stay here and guaranteed you'll end up partying with them.

friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a really relaxed attitude. could it get any better? I think not, Ron and Natalie will give you all the info u need from where is the best beach to where is the best Hummus(abdul hassan in Jaffa). I read a few comments before we booked about fake, unhelpfull staff but we saw no sign of this infact I would go as far as to say that the staff are this particular hostels best atribute , better even than it's legendary roof top terrace.

Professional, friendly, and helpful staff who really dedicate themselves to the hostel and to showing the guests a nice time. The location is a bit far from Northern Tel Aviv and the centre of the city is a bit of a walk when the weather is hot, but it's close to the beach and to Old Jaffa, as well as the Florentin district, all of which are nice areas. Their roof terrace is fantastic and I went back about 4 times a day when I needed to regain my energy after being out in the heat. Great place!

Florentine hostel has an outstanding, amazing atmosphere, nice staff, where everybody is friend with everybody. It has cosy roof where it´s nice to chill out a bit. I have been there a few times and I strongly recommend it! Also the area is really convenient.

cool place, not as wild and interesting as it used to be but still probably one of the best hostels in the world, ive personally not beae to a better one. Prices are cheapest in tel aviv and on top of though lots of things are free. It is truly a gem. Super fun place.

The staff are very nice and helpful with planning your day. They make you feel very welcome when you arrive. One of the showers was under repair which really limited the facilities. Our dorm room had a sliding screen that didn't close all the way so we could hear everything going on out on the terrace. People also kept cutting through our room and treated it like a hallway...that was a bit frustrating. We enjoyed our stay but note that its a loud young party-like atmosphere..
