Very friendly people, and they go out every night to a nice bar! This was really a big advantage, you won't be able to find those yourself,

I stayed at the hostel for 3 nights and loved it. Their terrace is the best part of the hostel is and an excellent place to meet people and socialize (important for me traveling solo). The staff was very helpful and they take everyone out to different clubs every night. Overall great place.

My biggest problem was that there was no way to lock the door of the room. They had keypads to get into the area of the rooms but no way to lock your door at night. The location also felt a bit sketchy to be walking around alone in at night. It was also pretty far out of the way from most of the things you want to be doing in Tel Aviv. That being said, the vibe was incredible and homey and the price was right. Awesome place for solo travellers who want to make friends.

HI M. we do not give keys for dorm room ( privates have their own keys) there is a main entrance code and every area of the hostel has another code. we have lockers for valuables. Our area is very safe as you will experience ; although former garages area, today the most hip neighborhood in Israel. we are 10 min walk from the beach. old jaffa and the flea market and on the other side 15 minutes to center of town. 20 to bus station ,5 to neve tzedek and a minute to florentine street. :-) love

Hostel has a real social, party atmosphere. Meet lots of great folks from all over the world. The location seems sketchy at first glance and hostel is not well signed from the street. But the area is fine, and conveniently located close to beach and Old Jaffa. Rooms are small, so bringing ear plugs and eyeshades is recommended in dorms.

Great vibe. Rooftop is awesome. Tent literally means sleeping on a couch upstairs which isn't the comfiest but is cheap.

I liked this three level building, but I did not liked old furniture on the balcony.

Ideal for solo travelers. Many fantastic people staying at and working at the hostel. Value can't be beat. Facilities could be improved...more secure storage space and outlets by beds. Would come again and recommend for sure. Well done Florentine. Location is great also

Everything about this place was great! The staff are clearly experienced and everything runs smoothly. They're very accessible and it's all very casual. They have a volunteer system which helps fill in the cracks. The place was really busy which actually makes it really easy to meet people, the terasse always has at least someone on it! What I really appreciate is that while it is a "party place" once lights are out they stress that it needs to be quiet. So you can easily party or sleep! :)

Ok hostel, centrally located between tel aviv and Jaffa. Nice atmposphere. The 6 pax dorm was very small, but the beds were ok. Lockers in room which is very good.

I don't have the words to begin and describe what an amazing time i had at Florentine Hostel... So far this hostel has some of the best staff i have ever encountered on any stay anywhere I have traveled too! A huge thank you to the guys and gals that work there!!! The hostel has a friendly and welcoming environment and a great social area on the rooftop! Great simple breakfast to start your day. Great beds and clean showers too. Close to Jaffa and the beach which was a big plus!

thank you for your kind words. however we didn't understand the overall rating 57% ...as you extended your night for almost a week and seemed like you realy had fun. still we apreaciate your kind words but please for future be more aware of our hard work. we expect guest who are unhappy to tell us. we will never let an unhappy guest to leave unhappy. so we do not understand your bad review. Rafi.

What a friendly hostel! As soon as you walk in the vibe is so positive, thanks to the engaging and outgoing staff and volunteers. It's a budget hostel- tel aviv isn't a cheap city, so 60 shekels to sleep on the terrace is about as thrifty one can get! Brilliant location, very social, easy to meet other travellers, and a very safe, friendly environment. Highly recommended.
