Just the perfect place for backpackers. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff makes sure everyone feels at ease. The rooms and bathrooms are not "super-chic", just standard hostel average I guess, but you can't expect more for that price. The staff does a good job to keep everything clean. The hostel is located within walking distance to the beach and Old Jaffa and probably most of Tel Aviv if you're not too lazy:) I spent 5 nights there and I would not want to miss that time. Markus

The best hostel I have ever been to. Staff was fun and helpful. I am planning on staying here if I ever go back to Isreal.

great hostel, very friendly staff and a beautiful roof deck! only issue is that it's a good 10-15 minute walk to most areas of interest

Hostel personnel was not different than my family! Help me to tidy up, did my laundry with little cost, share their drink and food with me.. I was surrounded by the people who said "is everything OK? Can we help you for anything?" I had great time in terrace and join their activities in the evening.( such as restaurant and club visitings). Thank you Ron, Rafi and Natalie..

it was definately a nice stay, the premises are just fine, but the rooftop area makes a huge difference. The behaviour from some of the volunteers is the only thing i would complain about, specifically this american guy who behaves like a gangsta, he is a bit of an idiot, loves to give weird looks at people and lacks the spirit to be working at a hostel like that, the other guys do their job just fine. I would like to thank Natalie for her patience after our first collision (smoke issue).

It's worth going to Tel Aviv just to go to this hostel and lie around on its roof terrace listening to the great music and chatting to the friendly people.

It's a nice place the staff are great, but you are told to leave from 11am to 2:30pm. If you arrive between these times the place is locked down. It can be very inconvenient.

Interesting place to stay! Staff really helpful and great atmosphere. Ideal location to explore the old city, and great viewpoint on the roof.

Nice staff, nice location between tel aviv centre and jaffa although the neighborhood is not so nice. Bad sound isolation but otherwise a nice hostel. Great roof terrace for chilling out.

It's a small nice hostel with a very nice terrace on the roof top, friendly staff and a very well equipped kitchen. Sometimes you have to wait until you find a free shower and sometimes the water is not as hot as you might wish. The hostel is located in an area u wukldn't describe as "gentrified" - it's looks a little bit run down- I like this kind of surronding, others might not.

The Florentine Hostel is a really nice hostel. It's located relatively close to Jaffa and about 2 km to the centre of Tel Aviv. The staff is extremely helpful!

Staff and volunteers were very friendly and helpful. Nice to have an included breakfast. The vibe there is easy going and very involved - no scheduled events but something going on every night. Small enough to meet everyone but big enough to have your own space. Would recommend!

This was one the funnest and friendliest hostels I've ever stayed at. Immediately you are welcomed into the hostel's travel family, including the travelers volunteers and owner, who stops by to chat and even take out the visitors from time to time. There is a great deck with couches and hooka and tables, hammock .. very social and comfortable. A great place, thanks!
