We stayed whole week in 6-bed dorm+shared bathroom. This hostel is quite OK,it's basic but it's decent. It's in an interesting neighbourhood, very picturesc, and some 15 min walk to the Rotschild or 10 min to the sea or Jaffa, breakfast quite OK to start a day (tea, coffee, bread spreads, sometimes hummus).Bathrooms are maintained daily, and joint places are decent, the staff is helpfull and layed back, like the crew in hostel.Big regards to the hostel crew and volounteeres worldwide! :-D ;-) Hrki & Igor

I loved this hostel so much, and felt so at home here, that when I went bust halfway through my trip, I came back. The location is perfect, easy to get to from the train or bus, the staff and volunteers are just amazing, and the place can feel almost too much like home, making many never want to leave. As an older visitor, i would hold to the 40 and under rule for all those considering, but make sure you say hey to Rafi and Mayaan, they are priceless, and now friends for life. I miss you all.

Clean hostel with good bathroom and kitchen facilities. The beds are comfortable. Location is pretty central, near the beach, old jaffa, etc. It has a unique environment- very community oriented. They make group activities and you will get to know the staff very well (they're also extremely friendly and helpful!) I appreciated the community aspect, but if you are looking for a more anonymous hostel experience it's something to consider.

If you want to stay here make sure it is not in the 3rd floor because due to common rooms/ roof terrace it is really loud at night. For all people only 4 showers in total is definitely inadequately! You have to queue most of the time and the bathrooms are muddy. If you don't mind all of this the hostel is located close to everything 10min walking distance and the staff is really helpful. Keep in mind sharing a cab to the airport is only cheaper if you go to the same gate otherwise 50NIS more!!

I apologize. yes it is a hostel and we ask everybody to keep quite at night, but sometimes people drink and forget. a person being loud would be asked to leave! we mention a queue between 9-11 to the bathrooms and to be considered. there is alternative to have an ensuite room. and bathroom/showers cleaned daily 10 times ! each! we are also one of the cheapest hostels in town! and we are a backpackers hostel meant for backpackers. The location was weird. In a somewhat industrial quarter with a lot of noise at night.

Florentine Backpackers Hostel has an amazing atmosphere and amazing people. The rooftop terrace is the heart of the hostel and you can sit and share life experiences with people from all over the world while watching the sun set. The staff was incredibly friendly and immediately made you feel like you were home. The kitchen was big and had anything you needed. The location was also great: next to the beach, next to old Jaffa, great bars, great food and interesting neighborhood! A great stay!

Great hostel in a different location to most (in a good way). The Florentine district isn't in the centre of town but it doesn't matter as Tel Aviv is pretty small and easy to get around. Plenty of little bars around and heaps of street art around here to look at during the day if that interests you - has a bit of a Berlin vibe. Can walk to most areas otherwise the city bikes are really cheap and easy to use. Great rooftop terrace during the day and the staff were very helpful.

Probably the best hostel I've stayed at and I've been staying at 30-40 hostels

I guess Florentine Hostel is one of a Kind. The athmosphere is great. Eating Hummus for Breakfast on the rooftop while listening to all the Oldies like "Walking on Sunshine" just made it for us. After 22.30 the hostel get's really peaceful and quiet, since they are leaving every night for another pup. So they have the best of both worlds. Party for the partypeople and relaxed evenings for the others. Only one thing to claim: Sometimes you have to wait quite a bit for a bathroom.

We just stayed at Florentine the last night of our trip through Israel, which was a shame. it seems like the place where you can get to know a lot of nice people and with the beautifull lounge on the roof it is the ultimate hostel to socialize. The staff was very helpfull as well. We defenitly woud reccomend this hostel if you want to meet new people and don't have to get up early to catch your plane ;)
