I loved the terrace and ability to meet people very easy. It was a great environment to meet new people and relax. Super fun time.

Florentine is the best hostel in the world. It is clean and well-kept and the staff and volunteers are kind, helpful, and hard-working. It is one of the cheapest choices for accommodation in Tel Aviv and it's a 10-15 minute walk to multiple beaches and a 2 minute walk to one of the most happening streets in the city for bars. The awesome volunteers (specifically Sam and Eliza) will take you to the club and party all night with you. I am in love with them. There's even free breakfast.

Good hostel for meeting people and probably one of the better ones in Tel Aviv. I retruned twice and enjoyed my stay both times. The staff make this place and the set up for meeting people make this hostel what it is. Everything else can be overlooked.

I really enjoyed my stay at Florentine. The place is small and really cozy. The volunteers are great. Sam and eliza know a ton about the night life and the rest of the volunteers are equally helpful. Everything is really relaxed and it made for a great stay.

A great place to hang out, the lounge was awesome and everyone was very helpful and friendly. The only downsides were that there weren't enough bathrooms or showers at times and the kitchen got insanely crowded as well. Great location in Florentine and everyone there knows your name almost immediately. Would go back again.

I absolutely loved everything at Florentine's! The people working and volunteering there were absolutely lovely and made you feel right at home. One of the best aspects of the place is the terrace upstairs which is a really sociable atmosphere, and when you're travelling alone its the perfect opportunity to meet people! Tel Aviv was a fantastic city and I can't wait to go again, and I will come back! :-) Caroline x

Very nice terrace, relaxed atmosphere, easy to get in contact with other people. That's very nice as a newcomer in Tel-Aviv.

This was a quintessential hostel with a great vibe. The terrace on the upper level was an ideal hangout spot. What really made it special was the staff! Eliza, Samantha, and Doug really went out of their way to make me feel welcome and were great hosts! I would definitely stay again next time I am in Tel Aviv.

The Florentine Hostel is a great place from which to explore Tel Aviv or to just relax and hang out with all the cool people that stay here. It is a hostel like you picture one: chill, relaxed atmosphere, people cooking, sunny roof terrace, guitars and always a large crowd to drink some beers with or go out. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it!

i was in hostel only one night, but it was so nice! staff was very kind and helpful and we had more advanced room for free. Location is terrrible. it was very hard to find hostel ㅜㅜ

Great staff, loved the room, good value for money, unfortunate that there was a big alcohol a d drug culture, but otherwise a great atmosphere and the volunteers were lovely, showers are a bit dodgy, Watch your food doesn't get stolen tho... Would definitely recommend to others, double room was lovely but the inability to eat and drink in room was a tad annoying, but understandable :) Overall, very solid and ill definitely be coming back 9/10

This is the second time that I've stayed at the Florentine Hostel and I can honestly say that, until and if ever I am super loaded and can afford a luxury suite at the Ritz, this is the ONLY hostel or hotel that I would stay at while in Tel Aviv! Everything about the hostel is good, including the cleaning, laundry service and complimentary breakfast with a Middle Eastern touch, but the best thing is the atmosphere-- the many friends, and the helpful staff! Thanks, guys--I'll see you again soon!

We had a wonderful stay, it was a very fun group of young people staying. We had to walk through a bit of a dodgy looking area to get there at night, but by day you realise it's perfectly safe and actually quite a gentrified neighbourhood. Also, we got upgraded from a dorm room to a private room both nights we stayed here, such a bonus!

I think the age restriction - 18 to 40, I believe - says it all: this place is a microcosm of a particular "way of life" that is probably not suitable to the older traveler.

Very nice cool hostel in the city. The staff is extremely nice and it's easy to meet people, especially when you are travelling by yourself. Would recommend this hostel to anyone!

Reception hours are simply absurd, staff should understand that being unprofessional does not give 'character' to the place. The terrace/common area was extremely dirty, toilets so-so.

I enjoyed my stay. I booked the room with a double. It was a comfortable bed, and it was quiet. Bathroooms could be cleaner, but they are still acceptable.

The atmosphere is absolutely perfect if you want to meet people from all over the world and share stories. It is a very good home base for exploring the city, you hear good tips on where to go and in the evenings there's always a group there to go out with. The door is difficult to find however, there's no big sign anywhere. The place is very clean and cozy on the inside and wifi reaches everywhere.
