First of all the staff never cleaned my room, even when I was out all day and from 6 am to 11 pm the sheets wasnt even changed. also the staff was not helpful at all, I lost my room key and they never did anything for me to get a new one. every day I asked for a new key and there was a different person at the desk. No communication among the staff?? The breakfast was supposed to be included but all you got was coffee and a bagel. 65 dollars a night for this shit! I will never return

Have better bathrooms and restrooms. The ones in the gym are a lot better, so I ended up using them instead.

Actually it is a good place to spent one night in NY. The facilities are basic, but it is clean, seems to be secure and close to subway station.

The place is quite nice but the cleanliness is not that good, only the trash was emptied everyday in the room, the floor was always dirty. As for the wifi connection, it worked only on the first floor and it had often to be reset, so it was a bit annoying.

I was staying in this hostel for just one night and felt very nastility and unsafe. The people were noisy all night.

This was a 1 bedroom shared bathroom. Nice security parking lot across from the police station. For $66 it is a fair price for the location. I think the $95 I saw advertised other places would be overpriced.

I had a double on the 4th floor for a good price, but there\'s just one bathroom for the whole floor, one out of two WC was clogged and there are just two showers. I found spots on the sheets, the room was smelly. But it was not too bad if you have to spend just one or two nights (if you don\'t take the express train the trip is about 30min from Manhattan, and late night trains are not so frequent).

The YMCA Flushing is easily reachible by foot from the Metro (to Manhattan) and Bus stop (to LaGuardia Airport). Although not very cheap, the amazing facilities - e.g. a swimming pool, a basketball hall - justify the price. Biggest drawback: No WiFi on the rooms from 3rd floor upwards.

Reserved a room with two beds but received room with only one large, rather firm bed no problem considering the price. Room featured three lamps (though only one worked), a desk (strangely, no chair), a TV, minifridge, radiator, air conditioning unit, and openable window, but we couldn\'t get the free Wi-Fi to work. Bathrooms were clean and the showers were wonderfully warm. Well-connected in terms of transit, though the 7 train does take a while to get to Manhattan really the only drawback.

First of all, the staff was very friendly and helpful. the location -flushing- is an interesting one and a good adition to the typical manhattan. i think its important in new york to see all the boroughs and not only man. to stay about 30 mins away gives you one of hundrets other feelings you can get in nyc. i paid too much for the room, what maybe on new york generally a problem is. the window wasn´t closely enough so i heard all the time the frequented road. but all in all i would come again!

It is very dirty and the room smells not good. The heat doesn't work. It is very noisy outside, because it is just close to the road. I can't sleep well during the night. Also the breakfast is terrible.

No hot water in showers. Disgusting toilets. Creepy costumers. The heating won't work most days, and then on the few days it actually works, it will make you feel like you're in a sauna. The windows are so thin you'll feel like you're sleeping on the sidewalk. It's also located very far from Manhattan, count at least 40mins to get anywhere interesting (although the neighborhood is not that bad, some sort of Chinatown bis). Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

- common shower rooms doesn’t have proper doors, there are shower curtains but it doesn’t cover the full door! - carpet is very smelly - heating system in the building is very loud and sometimes people can’t even sleep, management advised there’s nothing they could do because the heating system is too old - windows in rooms have small gaps between the window frame and the wall, wind is coming through these gaps and making a very annoying squeaky noise - toilets doesnt flush properly and too old
