A great place to stay hidden among local residences. Authentic building and courtyard. Quiet and friendly. Good restaurants in nearby hutong.

Excellent place, clean and well kept. The location is great, near the center and the subway. If you like kung fu this is the perfect place to stay. The owner practices it and often organizes free kung fu classes.

This was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Beijingn city. The room was good enough for our short 3 night stay. Daniel is an excellent host who speaks great English and one of the staff, Stacey, was very helpful and friendly. Good place to share experiences with others and an ample breakfast. Location was good cos you get to walk through a hutong before getting to town or the metro into other areas. Thanks!

Fantastic hostel with super friendly and helpful staff. Some nice things were: having breakfast included, an incredibly comfortable bed, free kung fu class and a quiet courtyard to relax away from the general madness of Beijing. Will definitely stay there again.

Great location though difficult for taxi's to find. Gorgeous courtyard, staff friendly and helpful with booking tours and train tickets, clean rooms, comfy beds and secure lockers to put valuables in. Free continental or cooked breakfast on request. Overall a nice place to go would stay there again if went back to Beijing.

We loved our stay! Thanks for accommodating us that last night and giving us the private room. Both beds were very comfortable. Make sure you stay on top of the mold in the bathrooms...we noticed you had a little bit starting in the second bathroom we stayed in. That could be a problem (and a turn-off for guests) in the future. Otherwise, lovely breakfast, perfect atmosphere and an over-all comfortable stay!

As soon as I booked the room on-line, I received not only an email, but also an sms with all the details with regards to my booking and to where the hostel was located. The staff was exceptionally nice, I had dinner with part of the staff the first evening I was staying at the hostel (the hostel also offers you the chance to order food, and the food is delivered in approximately 15 minutes). It was raining in Beijing, so the staff kindly provided me with an umbrella. Clean & quiet. Safe.

Awesome! Great location, very central and authentic hutong style hostel, can't ask for much more in central Beijing. The differential was really the staff, very helpful with calling taxis and really looking out for the safety of the guests, especially with such a language barrier this makes a world of a difference.
