They have a kitchen but it is the dirtiest we've seen in any hostel yet. The staff were generally nice expect one member when we were trying to get details about a canyon trip one girl was really rude and gave us poor information.

Hi, Thanks for your information, we will talk to the manager for what is happened in the hostel. We are sorry, we hope to see you again. Kind regards

Decent hostel. But they need to get plug sockets within reach for top bunks of bunk beds.

Stayed one night in the deluxe private room, and it was totally worth the money. Bath tub, loads og TV Channels and DVD player and lots og movies to choose from. After one night we moved to a 4 bed dorm, and this was also very nice with comfy beds. But the Hostel had a big party, wich was okay because the bar is in another section, but people standed outside our dorm and talked till 7 in the mørning, and we asked severel time to them and the staff if they could be quiet, but nothing happened.

Breakfast was pretty basic and if you go towards the end then there isn't much left. The whole hostel was a bit basic and the bathrooms weren't very clean. The hot water was very intermittent too. There is a games room and computers as well as a TV so there is plenty to do and it is very close to the main square and eating places which is handy.

Very well located hostel. Very gorgeous site, it looks like an hacienda and has the same vibe as the old buildings near downtown Arequipa. The terrasse is very nice. The staff was however only there for the minimum and hard to integrate. It feels like they have fun together but it would have been nice if they got more involved with the travellers.

Although flying dog hostel is in a great location with great facilities, our stay wasn't that great due to a few minor issues. We were given a twin room as the staff said a double room means two beds, the taxi organised by the hostel was more expensive than the 25 soles on their website and in our emails with the hostel, the staff smoke in the bar, our bathroom was not cleaned during our 4 night stay, the wifi was very poor and the staff did not seem interested in engaging in conversation.

Negative: The Internet wasn't working everyday, Breakfast buffet was often empty and dirty, the girl at the reception unfortunately was not very interested in giving information. positive: the shower was hot, beds are comfy All in all you can spend a night or two in this hostel, its ok but not more.
