Loved the Flying Dog and would definitely recommend it to future Lima travelers. I would have given the facilities an excellent, but the showers were a bit fickle. Sometimes the water was scalding hot, sometimes freezing, sometimes the water would only drizzle out............BUT even considering the showers, I would absolutely stay there again. Staff was helpful and the location can´t be beat!

I booked this hostel because I was so impressed with the one in Arequipa. However, I don't think this one is up to the same standard. My main complaint is that there are three different buildings and breakfast is served at a cafe across the road. This should be pointed out in the description. I was lucky that I turned up at the right building - the staff emailed me with instructions after I had already left my previous accommodation, so I didn't get it. Internet is also very poor.

to be honest - its garbage - the people who work there are pretty worthless, my room smelled like urine, and there was a cat staying at the hostel with me, I did not bring it.

The rooms are nice, the staff are kind and helpful. The shared facilities are kinda gross. The kitchen looks much better in the picture shown, found a baby cockroach when I was getting a pan, so there must have been more. The shared bathrooms are gross, the boys bathrooms are not at all maintained properly, urine everywhere... the girls was better it seemed. It is in a good location, and the rooms are nice and clean, we had our own balcony. The other 2 locations seem like they would be nicer.

The staff was helpful & accommadating. Hostal is well located, clean, quiet with nice courtyard, close to everything. Would stay there again

The 2nd Flying Dog I stayed at, again great atmosphere, beds are comfy, staff is great, location perfect and they really have something going at this chain of Hostels. Thanks everyone for a great stay!!
