We've been in KiwiHostel in winter during two nights, it was very nice there. Honestly it will be a great plesure for us to stay in Flying Kiwi again, I feel myself as I am a guest in my aunt's house :-) Everithing was clean and very calm. So if you are not a big company and don't like noisy gathering it is the best place for you in Tallin!

The location of Flying Kiwi is absolutely fantastic, being a two minute walk to the main square in Old Town, and easily accessible from the central bus station in Tallinn. The staff were very helpful, able to recommend a range of sights and activities, as well as the obligatory pub recommendations. That said, the amenities leave a lot to be desired - the complete absence of any water pressure rendering showering an exercise in futility. Positives were the price, location, and staff.

Good place to stay, a really pleasant staff! One problem: the water in the showers, when you use the one next to the sauna, there is no water left for the one upstair, so you can't take simultenous showers... Thanks!

For the most part the stay was nice. The staff was friendly, and the room was fine. There was a problem with the water pressure sometimes and also it could have been a little cleaner. Overall it was a nice stay and I would stay again.

Generally was OK, good location, maybe the kitchen wasn't clean enough.

Great hostel, wonderful staff, right in the middle of old town, family feeling with single beds (no bunk beds). the only problem was the shower which turned hot and cold occasionally and the water flow wasn't ideal but the owner said she would renovate in the winter so that shouldn't be a problem in the future. would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Decent hostel. It could use a bit of fixing up, but the staff is friendly and it's in a great location. The heat still wasn't on despite the very cold weather - this was NOT the hostel's fault, it's apparently a Tallinn quirk, but heads up to anyone travelling here in mid-October in the future. The staff turned on the sauna for free 24/7 to make up for it.

“This hostel is very centrally located and we were warmly welcomed by Jen (the manager) who made us feel at home right away. The rooms were good, clean and secure and the price is very affordable for the area. It is a smaller hostel which means we didn’t have 10 other people in our room which was a nice change. Jen was really helpful and pointed out all of the places to see in and around Tallin. Highly recommended.

One of the best Hostels I ever stayed on. I spend a week there and had a wonderful time feeling like at home, very cozy. Unbeatable location and amazing staff. 100% recommendable.

It's not a hostel with professional service you may expect, but an interesting private property turned to hosting tourists. It's pretty warm, cozy, and affordable too. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Recommended for short stays.
