My cousin and I visited here. At first we were worried since it seemed far away from Amsterdam but since New Years made it difficult to find an affordable option in Amsterdam, we went to Noordjwik. Turns out it was the best decision we made! The staff was awesome!! so friendly. Lucas was great, he really took care of us. All of the guys really took care of us, and we had so much fun. stayed up late into the night just laughing. One of my favorite experiences yet, THANKS!! Puya "Ya"

It would be nice to have more then one shuttle time. Check out was at 11 and the only shuttles that were available were 930 and 6.

The lockers in the room are very small! There isn't keycard, but normal key. The staff is fantastic and also the bar. The room is very simple and there is 2bathroom with shower for floor!

Had a great stay, staff heaps friendly, good location if your looking to be out of the city and chill on the beach. Not the spot to go if you are looking to go to amsterdam central everyday, Though in my top 3 of best hostels i have visited in my 3 months around europe.

I booked times for the shuttle into the city and they were significantly late. The majority of the staff live there so the place is cramped and a filthy mess. The door to the showers was hanging on one hinge; you had to perform an act of god to open and close that door; the second morning I went to shower and when I opened the door I was not strong enough to hold it up, ultimately this resulted in me and the door falling to the ground violently.

Me and my partner came across this hostel and thought it was in Amsterdam itself. Though we were initially a little disappointed that it was out of the city, it ended up being a beautiful mistake. Staff is extremely friendly and the character of the place is quite charming. Very smoker friendly. We only booked for one night but we didn't want to leave!

the hostel should show clearly that it`s in another city, far away from amsterdam.

Hostel is what it says it is... The review really shouldn't be as low as 70%, but I can't find something to that warrants 'Excellent'. I stayed here because it was cheap and provided free transportation to/from Amsterdam and the airport. That part is convenient. However, I don't smoke, and the whole place wreaks of old weed. Also internet didn't work while I was there - the first time I've ever had that at a hostel.

the beach hostel was simply fantastic. the ambience of the flying pig was warm, relaxing, open, enviting, and diverse. the staff was encridbly hospitibal and managed to create a family of brothers and sisters of the travelers and on-goers. hit me up on facebook everybody! sandra, alex, lucas, lori, tom, henry... all of you guys are awesome!

Staff are friendly and great and there's always music playing the hostel. The beach nearby is beautiful while you may get a ultimate relaxing day since it is hard to find anyone looked like pick-pocket. Thanks for the nights there and I definitely recommend others to spend their weekends in flying pig @the beach. That was awesome! Xoxo;D

I had a problem with my reservation, and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Moreover, they took time to explain what to do around and gave me precious advices. The hostel is nice, but I'ld mainly recommand this hostel for its staff!
