Only stayed here for 1 night, but was most definitely one of the best nights of the whole trip. The staff were super friendly and felt welcomed straight away, great atmosphere and free brekky which is a complete bonus! Will be back.

We turned up here before going for ADE as a "Chillout", in October mind, so we weren't expecting beach weather. We soon found that apart from smoke and drink, there was nothing to do. Seemed there were more staff members than guests, who were exceptionally friendly. The area was totally dead. After 1 evening it wore thin and we used their Shuttle to get to Amsterdam, the Flying Pig's there were pretty booming. Understandably it was very off season for the beach, lots of potential in the summer

I had an awesome experience at The hostel. The atmosphere is so amazingly chill and steady! Everybody should go there..

The staff seemed more interested in playing and talking amongst themselves then helping, also there was no security in the rooms which we also surprisingly shared with the staff

Nicest staff although sometimes I couldn't tell the difference between the guests and those who work there! Lost my bank card and the bartender offered me a free beer to relax while the girl at reception translated for me and helped out. I liked the location, the beach is gorgeous and shuttle bus rides are convenient and pretty cheap. Only bad thing is that the rooms are right underneath the bar/lounge area so expect to party and stay up if you decide to stay there! Would definitely come again.

The best hostel I have ever stayed at! My partner and I both had an incredible time. This is the most social hostel I've been to! Great people. Great staff. Great atmosphere. Great facilities! Cod not recommend this place more! Go stay here!

I liked this place a lot because of the great atmosphere

originally my mates and i were only gonna stay 2 nights but we ended up staying 4. We didnt even go into Amsterdam until the last day because we enjoyed the hostel so much. The staff was amazing they interact and party with you i felt like i made connections with every single one of them. The smoke room was awesome too! I am defenitely planning my return trip to the flying pig.

AMAZING! Could not recommend any higher! Great facilities (bar, kitchen, shuttle) It is out of the city but was not an issue as there were frequent enough shuttles in to town. Also the vibe is so good you don't feel the need to be in the city centre the whole time! Staff are super friendly and down to earth. At one point we were bitten by something (turned out to be sand fleas) but staff were vigilant in finding the problem. Very clean and thorough. Just loved this place! Cheap too!!

Had a great time here mainly because the atmosphere is great, opportunities to meet lots of people... Nice to get away from the cities and go the beach, the hostel is in a nice area... Good staff and good breakfast... I'm not a smoker but still enjoyed it

There is massive potential for it to be a great party hostel but it lacks any decent management. As far as I could tell there was just a bunch of workers using the place as their own filthy frat house with no regard to people paying to stay there. They would cook a huge feast for themselves and make you feel uncomfortable using the kitchen at the same time. If the workers weren't so wasted all the time I'm sure they would clean better...horrid! Day staff much better and the bar guy was fantastic

Great hostel, kitchen gets busy especially when the staff cook dinner for themselves. Don't stay here if you want to go to Amsterdam every day. But the shuttle bus is great if you want to pop in for the day. Great spot for exploring the surrounding cities. The beach is great. (Better in summer obviously ) but great hostel with activities and atmosphere, get amongst the battle shots....

This place was so dirty and disgusting. Very unorganized. Did not feel safe. The lockers don't work and everyone's stuff is lying everywhere. Would not recommend.

The location is great for Noordwijk and still rather good for Amsterdam. It really is the best of both worlds. The staff is average, typical in hostels.

Lovely staff, lovely people, great to get a bit out of the city for a bit and good shuttle service but book it ahead of time because it fills up quickly

The flying pig beach hostel is more than just a hostel. It is an atmosphere that is able to create a feeling of family and unity in just a few days time. The staff was beyond wonderful, and the visitors just the same. You could honestly leave a 20 euro note on a table, and it would get turned in up front before someone taking it. I highly suggest the flying pig beach hostel to anyone who is able to make it. Not only is it a safe secure environment, but it's a hell of a lot of fun as well.!

Very nice welcome and overall ambiance, though not the best for those who wanna rest ;-)

Good location close to the beach and much cheaper than staying downtown. Remember to book the shuttle to/from Amsterdam in advance as we found it fills up quickly. Great spot to rent bikes and cycle around for the day. 4 and 6 person doorms were clean and surprisingly quiet

I knew this hostel was outside of Amsterdam but I didn't realize how far. I did book an extra night there because it was easy to take the shuttle, but I could see how that would fill up quickly. I ended up finding another hostel in the city for the rest of my stay
