Although its half an hour from the city it was well worth a visit. The atmosphere was so friendly and very enjoyable

The flying pig is by far my favourite hostel in all of Europe. The staff are some of the best people I've met traveling, and the best friends I've made in europe have been guests there. The atmosphere feels like a home away from home, I stayed during the off season, so it was incredibly laidback, during the day people would hang out and smoke weed, then by the night there was a good chance of people partying, which was always a good time. Would definitely recommend to anyone that likes fun.

The staff treat you like friends and are an absolute blast to hang out with. The place is great for meeting new people and making friends. A really fun place. Shuttles make life easier. This place rocks - great fun, good people, fantastic free breakfast!

Great atmosphere, must be amazing during summer! Only bad thing is that it is too far from Amsterdam, although the Hostel provides shuttle.

This place has potential, but if you want the true Amsterdam experience, then you'll want to stay at the flying pig in downtown or uptown. The beach hostel is purely just used for a smoke room, and it's about an hour ride from all the action. With that said, the staff was very friendly, and the rooms were clean.

Great party hostel, easy to meet other travelers and locals that come to hang out in the bar. Beds are comfortable, you can get earplugs at reception. A bit far from Amsterdam, but there's a shuttle for 4 euro one way, close to other nice cities, like Leiden. Nice beach across the road.

Best place to relax! The staff chill and let me know of all of the hostels facilities and what I could do in town. also, they made the best atmosphere for guests and locals! definitely do not stay here if you don't like smokers. I see a lot of complaints on here about weed smell and music noise (their website literally says that it's a place to relax and drink and smoke). this hostel definitely brings people together that want to have a great time. the beach is 3 min away and the city is about a

It was cool. Nice bed, nice shower, nice staff, nice breakfast. Only problem is the location, but they can take us from and to Amsterdam for 4 euros each ride.

It's not a good place to take the rest and sleep. There is always loud music until 2 o 3 o 4am ! Even the staff could speak loudly at midnight Unbelievable ! But if you are looking for party every nite Here is a good choice

Loved the people I met, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved how warm and accommodating everyone was. I wish the hostel was not so far from the city if there is one complaint I have.

Good touch leaving shampoo and bath gel. Good breakfast too!

Well I like the hostel, but it was way too far from the city center. You do meet other travelers, which is great. If i were to do it again I would stay at the Flying Pig Hostel that was uptown or downtown rather than on the beach. just because of the location. They do offer shuttle rides, but you have to pay 4 euros and need to book in advance because they might get filled.

Great times with great people. The staff hangout and party with you when they're not working and there's an outside area which is perfect to hang in the sun, even in November!

The location, the room, the facilities, the staff, everything is excelent. The greatest thing is that they are conected with hostel in Amsterdam, and they both help you and expecially the organized drive in both directions (safe, fast and cheap). Thank you for everything!

Super cool place to stay if you want a chill time to smoke and hang out. They have a great shuttle to go to Amsterdam. Enjoyed the stay and was a great break from the hectic city. Would stay again.
