I liked this place a lot because of the great atmosphere

Had a great time here mainly because the atmosphere is great, opportunities to meet lots of people... Nice to get away from the cities and go the beach, the hostel is in a nice area... Good staff and good breakfast... I'm not a smoker but still enjoyed it

There is massive potential for it to be a great party hostel but it lacks any decent management. As far as I could tell there was just a bunch of workers using the place as their own filthy frat house with no regard to people paying to stay there. They would cook a huge feast for themselves and make you feel uncomfortable using the kitchen at the same time. If the workers weren't so wasted all the time I'm sure they would clean better...horrid! Day staff much better and the bar guy was fantastic

This place was so dirty and disgusting. Very unorganized. Did not feel safe. The lockers don't work and everyone's stuff is lying everywhere. Would not recommend.

The location is great for Noordwijk and still rather good for Amsterdam. It really is the best of both worlds. The staff is average, typical in hostels.

The flying pig beach hostel is more than just a hostel. It is an atmosphere that is able to create a feeling of family and unity in just a few days time. The staff was beyond wonderful, and the visitors just the same. You could honestly leave a 20 euro note on a table, and it would get turned in up front before someone taking it. I highly suggest the flying pig beach hostel to anyone who is able to make it. Not only is it a safe secure environment, but it's a hell of a lot of fun as well.!

Very nice welcome and overall ambiance, though not the best for those who wanna rest ;-)

Good location close to the beach and much cheaper than staying downtown. Remember to book the shuttle to/from Amsterdam in advance as we found it fills up quickly. Great spot to rent bikes and cycle around for the day. 4 and 6 person doorms were clean and surprisingly quiet

I knew this hostel was outside of Amsterdam but I didn't realize how far. I did book an extra night there because it was easy to take the shuttle, but I could see how that would fill up quickly. I ended up finding another hostel in the city for the rest of my stay

I had a great time at the Flying Pig. The staff was amazing. Most staff members also stay there on the grounds so theres always someone to help you. They are knowledgable and friendly. And if you like to party then this is a good place to go. There is a bar and a smoking room. I didn't need to go anywhere else to have fun. Good place for young people. The location is good too. With ten minute walking distance from the beach and close to many stores and shops, it was a convenient location.

Friendly service, everything made available etc. Bed linen and pillows didn't smell too great. Biggest downer were the wet floors on the toilets upstairs meaning that sitting down to go or putting clothes on the floor whilst showering was very difficult and walking was uncomfortable. Downstairs toilet smelt an awful lot so I avoided it like the plague.

One of the best hostels we've ever stayed in! The staff are the most awesome group of people. The hostel is perfect but the staff are what really will make it one of the best hostels you'll stay in. Big shout out to Dan in particular! It's also the perfect place to party or just chill out. Great facilities, always kept clean and it's location outside the city is perfect. Generally cheaper than staying in Amsterdam as well. Thanks for an awesome week guys!!

Amazing Party hostel with friendly staff in an awesome center location. Breakfast was good too !! I like the Smoking zone..

Amazing atmosphere and friendly staff, nevnever wanted to leave the hostel!

This place is awesome. Been backpacking Europe for 3 and half months and this easily one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Really laid back atmosphere, super easy to meet people, and the staff are the best. Location is a bit far from amsterdam but the area near the hotel and Leiden (nearby city) are super beautiful. They also have a shuttle to Amsterdam so you can go there if you really want. Will definitely be coming back here in the future

Absolutely great hostel with great people. I thought it being a bit away from Amsterdam would turn into a problem but it wasn't at all. The shuttle service was great and just the staff in general. Everything was nice and clean. The whole vibe there made you feel so at home! And the parties there seemed a lot of fun(I didn't attended any) especially when they had the beer pong setup.

flying pig 🐷 is amazing.very lively and a great place to meet other travelers.

The flying pig beach hostel is a great accomdidation: if you are in fact, a pig. It was very dirty, showers were filthy and the rooms were a mess. The shower pressure was literally a trickle of water from a hole in the wall... The beach area is beautiful, but very hard to see Amsterdam. Not some place I would stay again

Great atmosphere all hours, always partying but mostly a smokers hostel
