Flying Pig Downtown Reviews

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Its about a 5 minute walk from the train station. Staff were incredibly helpful and cool. Rooms were clean. Smoking room was comfy with good music and chill people. Bar has great drink deals. Bathrooms and kitchen is small and make sure to bring your lock for the lockers. Definitely would stay at the flying pig again!

Unfortunately we only stayed at the Flying Pig for a couple of days (we could have stayed forever!), but from the second we walked through the door the staff were so welcoming and were so helpful, including one lovely staff member who changed our bedding super-quick so that we could go back to sleep after a gruling coach journey. Planning to come back again this year, thank you for such a wonderful stay.

One of the best hostels Ive ever been in europe. Good atmosphere, great people, very close to everything in Amsterdam.

Hands down the best week of my life. DO NOT book anywhere else. I literally had the greatest week ever due to the staff, the people there, even the bunk mates.. WILL come back over and over again..

My request for a wake-up call was turn down by the staff. Its quite weird as its the first time someone had turn down such request.

Location was perfect right next to central station and in the middle of Amsterdam. Lots of restaurants near by. Staff was helpful, toilets and rooms were cleaned every morning. Would definitely come back.

Fabulous location. Perfect for groups of friends who want to be in the heart of the action. Rooms were fine, they did get very hot at night time especially during the spring/summer months.

This Hostel if full of character. It's a great place to party at, or just have a couple drinks before you explore. Great music and smoking lounge. Very close to cool museums, the red light district, Dam Square, and shopping area. But if your looking for somewhere quiet, this is probably not the best place. Definitely recommend this place!

Wow it was a wild weekend! Everyone I met there (including the employees) was super friendly and ready to welcome you to their group. I am so glad I stayed there. Billy and Onknee (sic) were great!

This is my favorite hostel I have been to so far. Great atmosphere, great staff, and I love the cat.

The big common area consisting of a bar, pool table with searing all around it, and smoke room make it very easy to make new friends. Great for solo travelers.

Awesome entertainment day and night in the hostel. very chill

excellent location, loved blue brothers just opposite. was in a 6 bed bunk, no problems at all. please bring a bigger padlock if you want to lock things up, the usual small ones cant do it

The hostel was in a great location and had a really nice vibe to it. There was a great smoking area that was comfortable to relax in but the bar was a little small and got easily crowded. The drinks were cheap though in comparison with the rest of Amsterdam. The staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend it!

Value for money low only because of high price, but that's to be expected for the location. Facilities: Wifi only works in reception area.

Good central place. Very much a stoner vibe which isn't for everyone but still social and fun spot.

It was probably one of the best hostels I ever stayed! THe atmosphere was great, stuff very friendly and helpful and you couldn't possibly pick a better hostel in Amsterdam!!!!!

loved the hostel, the only problem was the size of smoking room after coming back in the night we found it to be jammed packed.
